    Job Location: Bangalore/Bengaluru

    Centralise, professionalise lead the indirect sourcing by executing sourcing activities, category strategies, run procurement processes using Coupa, meeting events planning, supplier relationship management aiming to support acquisition of high quality of goods/services at the best possible terms and prices, as well as category sourcing across India.

    The position

    As a Procurement specialist, you will be responsible to develop manage multiple category plans of sourcing. Experience in supplier research, selection, negotiation contracting.

    Manage win/win sourcing strategies with suppliers. Gathering Business requirements and managing demand management data for various business units and analyse saves opportunities utilizing spend data. Demonstrated success dealing remotely; will need to interact regularly with senior stakeholders in different regions of Novo Nordisk and with suppliers on a regular basis. Demonstrated ability to construct and manage RFIs/RFPs/RFQ”s; to drive supplier selection processes.

    Ability to handle multiple sourcing projects at the same time and close advanced projects on time with minimal supervision. Demonstrated track record of applying influencing, persuasion, presentation skills, Experience in conflict resolution. Your tasks will include driving and publishing daily / weekly / monthly / yearly performance dashboards and presentations. You will also be responsible for automation / standardization / optimization of these dashboards and presentations and creation/maintenance of web forms.

    You will have end to end responsibility for creation of survey questionnaire, publishing, maintaining and analysis of stakeholder surveys (yearly / ad-hoc / quarterly).

    Nature and scope of Main accountabilities:

    Sourcing Procurement

    Consolidate sourcing procurement in to Central Procurement Cell on going process

    Assist in procurement for marketing department other departments in line with purchase policy

    Ability to draft detail RFPs/RFQs/RFI as per the requirements briefing

    Identify potential suppliers/vendors/partners with ability to drive purchase to pay process independently as per company policy process

    Negotiate and finalize long term / medium term contract with vendors w.r.t. prices, delivery quality of regularly procured products services

    Monitor contract performance w.r.t. delivery schedules, quality, price and process payments

    Lead all office renovation / refurbishment projects and ensure delivery within cost and time budgets

    Drive continuous improvement in procurement function viz. price service/quality levels

    Coordinate with finance, business analysts and other stakeholders to maintain detailed MIS of budget spends across events and projected spend

    Proficiency in COUPA procurement tool sourcing contracting modules

    Identifies full range of sources of information and gathers useful data from these in a cost-effective manner. (Sources incl. desktop research, active use of NN resources such as library information services, internal Procurement Leaders/peers, as well as external peer networks and knowledge sharing sessions with peers)

    Work extensively on Category strategy sub-activities include: Understand customer need, define spend categorisation and baseline, define category strategy, define purchasing strategy. Sourcing requirements sub-activities include: Analyse spend, define requirements and selection criteria, draft contract, create RFx.

    Continuous search identify potential suppliers create partnerships to drive the sourcing activities with end to end supplier management, supplier management sub-activities include: Manage supplier relationship, evaluate supplier performance. Reporting sub-activities include: Track savings and value delivery

    Pro-actively defines overall projects goals and deliverables in close collaboration with project owner/LOBs. Follow up on sourcing project process and deliverables.

    Qualifications:

    • You have completed a Bachelors Degree from a reputed university. You have 6-8 years of experience in sourcing procurement, from a leading organisation.
    • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word a plus. Experience in COUPA or other ERP s for contract management procurement functions will be an advantage.
    • You are a strong communicator, and have experience in global stakeholder management. You possess strong analytical and problem solving skills, ability to visualize, articulate, and solve complex problems and evaluate correlations and synthesize data driven insights.
