Role Overview
The Experience Reporting Analytics Team (ERA) will deliver a step change in proactive data management and analytics across End User Computing. Supporting the definition and control of End User Data Architecture together with automated reporting, self-service data provisioning and predictive analysis will establish ERA as the consulting partner of choice across EUC.
ERA s tools and reports will be integrated into the daily work of our partners, delivered through the following workstream pillars:
- BAU Operations – standard reporting, new requests, user admin and support, data analytics and User Experience Dashboard.
- Service Transformation – bespoke analytical projects (e.g. Systrack, Service Desk Contact Reductions).
- Self-Service Automation – dashboard development and maintenance, user training and support, report automation.
- Internal Op Model – agile new demand and WIP processes (Kanban), benefits realization and team capabilities
- Innovation – tooling, capabilities and scope.
Skills and Knowledge
Must Have
- Proven working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst
- Technical expertise regarding data models, data mining, text mining, NLP
- Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc), databases (SQL etc), programming (Python, Javascript)
- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Preferred)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
- Educated to degree level / strong business experience

Technical Knowledge
- Experience with self-service analytics engines. dbRib is DB s self-service suite of reporting tools that meets reporting requirements and delivers enterprise business intelligence solutions.
- Presentation layer tooling such as Splunk, Tableau and New Relic to deliver data to users through self-service
- SAP database products for reporting and analysis
- User Experience and Productivity data sources – Systrack, Microsoft Admin Centre and bespoke data sources for analytics and reporting
- Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
- Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
- Filter and clean unstructured data seek pattern to improve user experience
- Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
