Position Summary:
We are looking for a Senior Agile data practitioner who thrives in a fast paced and data driven world with clear vision to customer focus, and has prior experience in Business systems, Data analysis, Reporting and Visual Analytics. The candidate has the capability to effectively articulate the business requirements into design specifications to deliver actionable insights, providing business with accurate representation of data with highest data quality adhering to timelines, and be part of business growth with Nuance. The role would require excellent communication and collaboration skills and knowledge of BI tools and Automation.
The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for supporting Corporate Sales Support and Operations. A Techno-Functional Analyst role who will work across Sales, Business Operations, Exploratory Data Analysis to ensure accurate reporting of Sales performance data used for Revenue, Planning, Partner, Industry and Management Reporting. The role provides an opportunity to work on E2E Business Process Execution, Metrics delivery (KPIs), Reporting and Analytics using BI tools and Process Automation working in conjunction with Data, Analytics, and IT teams to drive enhancements.
This role will have a broad business impact with business directive insights of a SAAS company – with four major components:
• Articulation: Work with business and IT stakeholders to clearly define customer requirements into technical specifications.
• ETL: Data extractions and consolidation of data across Business Systems. (Salesforce.com, Xactly, Splash BI, Oracle, Power View)
• Visual Analysis: Own data accuracy and deliver simplest form of visual analysis. (Einstein Analytics, Power BI, UI Wireframes)
• Tools Adoption and Training: Aggressive learner to adapt with new business requirements and support BI tools adoption.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
• Custodian to ensure data quality and be an expert in data visualization and analysis adhering to timelines.
• Analyze end to end business data, Data preparation and ETL processes and generate actionable insights.
• Own and proactively identifies opportunities to optimize the performance and efficiency of existing reporting processes.
• Project management – Ability to work/lead small to mid-level projects with cross functional teams.
• Exposure to Microsoft BI Suite with very strong knowledge automation and query languages SQL / Macros.
• Understand Sales and Marketing KPI metrics to cover Lead to Sales Order Bookings lifecycle.
Key Personal Skills:
• Business analytical experience within a highly dynamic corporate environment with IT, Sales, Finance & Operations.
• Prepare and deliver business requirements reviews to the senior management team regarding progress and roadblocks.
• Enable effective decision support by aggregating data from multiple sources into a digestible and actionable insights.
• Building & maintaining process documentation and updating team & stakeholders about process changes
• Possesses strong oral and written communication skills to articulate complex data to both tech and non-technical audiences.
• Partner with business teams to consult, develop and implement KPI’s, Reporting and process solutions to meet business needs.
• Assists in implementing effective business practices that drive decision making, efficiency and performance actionable insights.
• Manage Account Segmentation, Hierarchy to drive key activities such as Planning, Partner and Reporting for the organization.
Knowledge and Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Computer Science, Information Science, Statistics.
Minimum years of work experience: 6-9 years.
Required Technical skills:
Strong strategic, analytical, and critical thinking skills; ability to break down complex problems and formulate plans and wireframes.
ETL, SQL, Salesforce.com, CRM systems, Oracle ERP, Tableau / QlikView / Dashboard development on Desktop/Mobile platforms.
Advance knowledge on business applications including MS Office, Excel, Salesforce.com, Oracle, BI Tools.
Minimum 6 years of Data reporting, Ad-hoc queries, Data analysis and strong Project Management.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to communicate effectively in business terms.
Experienced in diverse Hitech industry, Data/ Content management systems and tools and data warehousing technologies.
