Use the latest cloud technologies to design, implement, and test scalable distributed data services and applications in the cloud.

Build and support a petabyte-scale data platform and provide powerful foundations for our tools and services. Ensure scalable and reliable data ingestion and management; development of fast, robust, and spike-resistant data serving, and data processing tools for the entire company.

Power the next generation AI data infrastructure to develop AI systems.

Partner with AI developers and leaders to build future-proof infrastructure.

Own projects from start to finish, plan the team’s product roadmap, and be responsible for major technical decisions. Actively participate in team’s planning, code reviews and design discussions.

Lead multiple work streams of engineers to ship products end-to-end.

Coordinate projects across multiple teams. Work together with partner teams to achieve cross-departmental goals and satisfy broad requirements.

Champion engineering excellence by continuously improving our development processes.

Conduct technical interviews with company standards and help in recruiting activities. Effectively mentor and onboard junior engineers.

You have a Masters in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)

12+ years of work or research experience in distributed systems and big data tools (such as Kafka, Hive, Flink, Spark, and Presto)

Experience building scalable infrastructure on the cloud with Golang, Python or Java (or similar).

Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases.

Solid technical foundation and a deep understanding of cloud technologies, distributed storage and compute systems, and data pipelines.

Ability to craft technical design requirements and architecture in an agile environment to deliver production grade systems at scale.

Attention to detail and a passion for truth.

A track record of efficiently solving complex problems.

Highly motivated with strong interpersonal skills, ability to work successfully with multi-functional teams, principals and architects and coordinate effectively across organizational boundaries and geographies.

Advanced programming expertise in Scala or C++.

Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Envoy, or Istio.

Enthusiasm to collaborate and build supporting development infrastructure like CI/CD and DevOps.
-
Proficiency in writing SQL queries for analytic purposes.

The Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act requires that NVIDIA provide the compensation range and benefits offered for this position if performed in Colorado. The base salary range for this position in Colorado is $230,400.00 – 316,800.00 USD.
