The DRIVE IX team is searching for engineers to develop and bring NVIDIA’s automotive cockpit AI solution out to the world. You will participate in a focused effort to develop and productize ground-breaking solutions that will revolutionize the world of transportation and the growing field of self-driving cars. You will work with hardworking and dedicated multi-functional engineering development teams across various vehicle functions to create AI cockpit solutions, while achieving or exceeding all meaningful NVIDIA and automotive standards & guidelines. Our team builds the NVIDIA AI cockpit Software, with the goal of providing a scalable software stack and framework to build AI cockpit for autonomous vehicles. We are looking for hands-on software engineers to join our team to redefine experiences inside cars. As part of this team you will work to develop and commercialize Artificial Intelligence solutions to diverse real-world problems related to NLP, Computer Vision, Speech, Text, Recommendation Systems etc. The scope of these efforts includes a combination of implementing new algorithms, performance/accuracy tuning and analysis, defining APIs, analyzing functionality coverage, and other general software engineering work. What you will be doing:

Build Deep Learning models for Computer Vision and Natural Language Processing for automotive applications

Construct and curate large problem specific datasets

Analyze and improve performance of GPU implementations
-
Collaborate with various teams to drive an end to end workflow from data curation and training to performance optimization and deployment

Partner with system software engineers and validation teams to build and ship production-quality code
What we need to see:
-
B.Tech. or M.Tech. or equivalent experience in computer engineering, computer science or related engineering fields

5+ years of proven experience in building Deep Learning models

Experience with Deep Learning Frameworks (e.g. TensorFlow, PyTorch, MXNet)

Excellent programming, debugging, performance analysis, and test design skills
-
Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Self-motivated and eager to learn
Ways to stand out from the crowd:

PhD in Computer Science, AI, Applied Math, or related field

Excellent C++ and Python programming skills

Experience with CUDA programming language

Exposure to HW architecture, ideally accelerators, and to numerical software

Ability to work and communicate effectively across multiple geographies in a multifaceted matrix organization
