NVR is looking for an intelligent, highly motivated, positive, results-oriented Business Analyst to join our Architectural Services Department. You will be part of a team responsible for analyzing and recommending solutions for a variety of business challenges, both within the NVR Architectural group as well as other areas of our business.
Primary Responsibilities:
Business Analysis: Learn various aspects of the homebuilding industry as you interact with our experienced professionals in the architectural group as well as other NVR business segments. Your responsibilities will include
- Mapping of various business processes and recommendations for enhancement using systems such as Lean or Six Sigma, leading to work flow optimization, reduced probability of errors and reduction in cycle times
- Analysis of various Business metrics to create Data Analytics, preferably with the ability to query databases and aggregate the information using tools such as Microsoft Excel
- Implementation of programs as needed in order to achieve recommended work flow improvements, including engagement of stakeholders and customers to ensure success. Establishment of metrics to measure and report on results
You will have the opportunity to spend time in different areas of our business as part of this position:
- Building Products: Interact closely with our manufacturing operations, a primary customer of the Architectural Services group
- Homebuilding: Spend time working with experienced Production and Sales professionals in the field, building relationships and creating programs to enhance the support we provide to them
Qualifications:
- 3 + years in an analytical role and familiarity with continuous improvement systems
- Highly driven, results oriented and ability to think independently
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with customers and business partners
- Technical skills to work with various databases and systems to complete data analysis
- Completion of a four year college degree program
