Position: General Manager Business Analyst and MIS
Reporting to: Chief Executive Officer / Vice Chairman
Qualification: Graduation in Commerce. MBA in Finance from a premier institute. Certification course in Business Analysis course would be an added advantage.
Experience:
10 plus years of experience in a business analyst/data analyst role and excellent analytical skills to break down and solve complex problems, including 4-5 years in developing requirements and formulating business metrics for reporting.
FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
- Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.
- Drive identification of requirements across business units and identify substandard systems processes through evaluation of real-time data.
- Create and implement precise management plans for every project, with attention to transparent communication at all levels.
- Partner with stakeholder teams across business units (i.e., sales, finance, business development, marketing, etc) to develop necessary analysis and documentation in a collaborative way, communicating effectively and efficiently with production, managerial, and executive teams.
- Author and update internal and external documentation, and formally initiate and deliver requirements and documentation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with senior-level management regarding the implementation of changes.
- Competence in writing reports and making presentations to highlight the effect of changes.
- Conducting tests, surveys, and workshops.
- Managing projects, developing project plans, and monitoring performance.
- Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
- Serving as a liaison between stakeholders and users.
- To prepare and keep the dashboard updated for the upper management.
Monthly P&L Meeting:
a) To prepare the variance analysis sheet in conjunction with the finance team to identify the areas of concern and highlight them to the management.
b) To present the same along with the Chief Finance Officer to the promoters of the company.
c) On a monthly basis report MTD (Month to date) and YTD (Year to date) Budget Vs Actual figures to the Directors.
- To prepare a feasibility report for upcoming business units and present the same to the management.
- To prepare yearly P&L Budget, CAPEX Budget & Renovation Budget along with the finance team. To present the budget to the directors of the company.
- To help in preparing the Annual report of the company along with the Finance and CS team.
- Any other additional duties assigned by the management.
