Position Summary
Purpose
As a MDM Developer, successful candidate will function as a primary member for developing MDM Applications and data models , ETL Jobs, Data Visualization to provide value and DSS for Business Users across the organization.

Duties & Responsibilities
Essential
- MDM ( Master Data Management )
- SQL
- Data Quality, Data Governance
- Data Enrichment and Validation
- Survivorship, Match and Merge.
- ETL
- Hands on experience with Semarchy or other MDM tools like Reltio, Infosphere, Informatica, Riversand, Tibco etc .
- Experience on Talend is a good to have skill .
- Recommend design alternatives for data ingestion from variety of sources into different types of target databases.
- Design, develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies to support the tactical and strategic reporting and analytics needs.
- Meet regularly with other Information Architects to review/enhance Information Architecture policies across the org
- Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
- Develop and maintain scripts and queries to import, manipulate, clean, transform data from different sources.
- Design and build ETL Solutions for MDM requirements.

Required
Qualifications
- Minimum BS/BE/BTech/MCA Degree in computer science, MIS etc.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in any MDM platform like Semarchy, Informatica, Infosphere, Reltio, Tibco, Riversand, Stibo etc.
- Minimum 2 years in any ETL Tools like Talend, Boomi, Stambia, Semarchy xDI, Informatica PowerCenter etc.
- Minimum 4 years of IT experience in Data analytics and related technologies.
Good to Have
- Development and Support experience on Semarchy xDM.
- Knowledge of the Parts Domain, Product Domain, Asset Domain of MDM Space.
- Knowledge of ETL Tools like Talend, Boomi, Semarchy xDI etc.
- Database : Postgres SQL, Oracle SQL, SQL Server
- Experience in implementing Data Governance policies.
- Experience in implementing Integration mechanisms for Downstream sharing
- Experience in implementing Match and Merge Logic in any MDM Tool.
- Experience in implementing Survivorship logic in any MDM Tool.
- Experience in using tools like Postman, DBeaver, SQLDeveloper etc.
- Experience in implementing ETL jobs and workflows.
- Experience with Source and Destination mapping in ETL.
- Experience with REST API in ETL Process.
- Experience in Transformations and nrichments in ETL.
- Experience and hands-on with REST API and REST Methods.
- Should have strong knowledge on MDM Best practices and Data Model.
- Flexible to work in any MDM Tool as and when required.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, And Other Characteristics
- Hands on experience with MDM Tools and technologies etc.
- To gather business requirements from End User.
- To perform Data Quality Analysis on the Domains and Sources.
- To create enrichment solutions and validation logic.
- To create and build the Data model.
- To develop the MDM Solution using MDM Tools.
- To develop ETL flows for MDM Solutions.
- To build the downstream sharing solution using REST/JMS/Kafka etc.
- To design and build the Data Governance policies in MDM.
- To support ongoing MDM Solutions and provide expertise as and when required.
- Should be able to work independently on the MDM Project.
- Should be able to perform all responsibilities of the project end-to-end.
- Should be familiar in with both Agile and Waterfall models of development life cycle and be able to make informed choices on the same.
- Should be able to provide and perform User Training Activities as and when required
- Design, develop, test, maintaining and deploy MDM Applications ,Data Sets & scripts and perform detailed analytics.
- Proficient in governance , implement row level securities and configure gateways.
- Knowledgeable in building data models for reporting analytics solution.
- Experience working in Agile methodology and facilitating sessions with data warehousing partners.
- Must be strong in SQL, and PLSQL skills .
- Excellent troubleshooting skills & delivering high-quality deliverable.
- Good understanding on ETL concepts.
- Understanding of relational database concepts
- Work with both IT and BI data internal and external clients to interpret tool, data and/or system requirements as well as to obtain data or develop data structures
- Work in Agile environment
- Strong with SQL development knowledge for Relational Databases
- Business and Technical Analysis skills
- Ability to support self-service BI Super Users
- Experience in Data Mapping, XML/JSON, and REST web service
- Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Experience of designing reporting solutions and the ability to translate customer requirements into creative, innovative and highly effective reports / dashboards.
- Excellent analytical skills, and the ability to understand a complex data environment.
