Job Location: Plano, TX
The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for developing tools and reports for analyzing financial, clinical, and operational results using enterprise business intelligence platforms.
Essential Functions:
- Collaborate with team members to build new BI solutions and help solve business problems using Analytics.
- Analyze business requirements and processes and recommend new processes/solutions.
- Create and maintain technical and user documentation related to analytics applications.
- Provide technical support and expertise to the user community in the use of analytics software.
- Provide training in analytics applications for end users.
- Identify areas to increase efficiency and automation of data analysis processes.
- Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements
Educational / Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Business Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 3 years of applicable experience.
- SQL Server, Power BI is preferred.
Qualifications / Skills:
- Highly proficient at creating functional and well-designed data visualizations with Power BI.
- Proficient at SQL and T-SQL development methodologies.
- Experience with creating ML models using Python and/or R.
- Familiarity with cloud computing technologies such as Azure, AWS.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong creative problem-solving skills and critical thinking ability.
- Ability to create technical documents and user manuals.
- Highly organized with acute attention to detail.
Work Environment:
Subject to many interruptions. Occasional pressure due to multiple calls and inquiries. This position can be high paced and stressful; must be able to cope mentally and physically to atmosphere. Work require spending approximately 90% or more of the time inside a building that offers protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
