Communicate with Me Analytics Business Analysis Associate II

The Communicate with Me Analytics Business Analysis Associate II within Communicate with Me (CwM), part of Fraud Prevention, provides in-depth analytic support by developing business cases based on cost, benefit and customer experience criteria, provides insights/root causes driving business results, identifies new operational and process opportunities to better protect our customers and/or improve customer experience.

This role involves various single contributor projects and activities as well as working with peers or leaders from across CCB. The individual filling this role must be able to work independently on large projects involving capacity planning and optimization to achieve specific business targets, develop and operationalize business rules in automated environment, and perform end to end monitoring and evaluation of strategy effectiveness. This individual must possess excellent written and oral communication/presentation skills needed for executive presentations. The individual will need leverage superior interpersonal skills to work effectively with various levels of leadership and partners from other lines of business.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize data, reports and other tools to identify operational and process opportunities and ensure that business goals are attained in a consistent manner.
  • Provide SME support for business partners such as call centers, fraud prevention, branch and digital on an ongoing basis
  • Optimize existing business strategy through data driven decision process
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders and inform senior management on a regular basis
  • Manage end to end business strategy lifecycle and maintain superior controls environment.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Excellent analytical and problem solving ability with strong organizational and communications skills
  • Ability to extract, analyze and synthesize data/information from various internal sources such as databases and BI reporting tools
  • Ability to write efficient SQL and other related data analysis scripts
  • High level of competence in Excel and similar tools to review and transform data provided by business partners to evaluate and optimize business strategy rules and operational performance
  • Communicate & collaborate across multiple functions and levels to influence process, system, reporting modifications as needed
  • Utilize basic SQL and Reporting team’s data and partnership to augment reporting to identify emerging business and customer issues.
  • Ensure relevant processes carefully documented and monitored with regular reporting to senior executives.
  • Be a self-starter with strong initiative, ability to take ownership, work independently as well as collaboratively with multi-functional business partners.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in parallel with high level of independent decision making using sound judgement to deliver high quality of work
  • Other desired qualifications: Experience in Windows and Unix operating environment, business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Office, PitchPro+, Oracle SQL Developer, Teradata SQL Assistant.
  • 3 or more years of experience in a financial industry.

BS/BA preferred
