This is an exciting role in the growing Optum Home and Community Care division within UnitedHealth Group. This role will be ideal for someone with an analytical mind-set who can operate in a fast-paced environment while learning new tools and collaborating with a variety of stakeholders to build novel solutions. They will be responsible for analysis, development and support activities related to SharePoint and low-code development solutions for the Home and Community business and clinical teams. Key activities include fielding support requests, facilitating requirements discovery sessions for strategic initiatives, business process definition, analysis, development, and reporting.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and support Microsoft Power Platform solutions to enhance, streamline or automate processes
- Analyze data using a structured and methodical approach
- Gather, analyze, and define business requirements with the goal of documenting clear and concise requirements to ensure accuracy with all stakeholders
- Document and communicate business requirements
- Participate in and/or support solution design
- Participate in and/or support testing activities
- Present analysis and interpretation of findings for operational and business review, planning and new product development
- Support end-users with answering questions, developing training materials and conducting training activities as needed

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Engineering, Business, Finance, Health Administration, related field, or 2+ years equivalent work experience
- Business analysis or data analysis experience
- Experience with low-code development or equivalent skills (e.g., MS Power Apps, MS Power Automate, MS SQL, Nintex, Appian, Salesforce)
- Familiarity with Office 365 tools including SharePoint
- Advanced Excel skills, VBA, or similar
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in healthcare payer, clinical domain or similar
- Experience developing solutions with Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint Online
- Experience with facilitating requirement gathering and documenting business requirements according to project needs or established methodologies
- Data centric mindset versed in relational databases and basic data architecture with ability to read/write SQL in Microsoft SQL Server
- Experience working within an agile (e.g., Scrum or Kanban) framework and familiarity with user story definition
- Familiarity with change management concepts (communications, training materials and activities, etc.)
- Comfortable with frequent refinements in priorities and scope

- Desire to solve problems and find creative solutions to complex business issues

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $66,100 to $118,300. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $72,800 to $129,900. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
