This employee will be primarily responsible for implementing and supporting operations for a project to monitor provider claims activity for areas of non-compliance and to communicate results to our client and downstream provider communication channels. The employee will join a team that performs program integrity operational support for the Massachusetts Medicaid program (MassHealth), which includes clinical auditors, coders, and other business support staff. This role will support additional operational and administrative needs within the team, including data analysis, data tracking, business planning, and other ad hoc projects. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, able to learn quickly, flexible, and collaborative with a small but mighty team.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Analyze and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for the business and client
  • Perform data validation and quality review
  • Work collaboratively with business and support leads to map out and document project processes (workflows, policies and procedures, job aids, etc.)
  • Identify and document progress updates, issue logs, and other tools to ensure assigned projects run smoothly
  • Provides explanations and data interpretations to client and/or colleagues within area of expertise
  • Understands and anticipates customer needs and work proactively to meet them
  • Provides operational support to team for ad hoc projects, as needed, to ensure project deliverables and milestones are met

Required Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma/GED or 6+ years of Business Analysis experience
  • 2+ years of experience in data analysis and reporting
  • 1+ years of documenting client-facing business processes and job aid development
  • Intermediate proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Intermediate + level Excel skills
  • Ability to problem solve and research conflicting and/or inaccurate data
  • Ability to coordinate multiple priorities at the same time
  • Ability to communicate analysis, including trends and opportunities, to client and team in writing and verbally
  • Experience with health plans, healthcare claims, or clinical operations experience

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $21.68 to $38.56. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $23.94 to $42.40.
