Primary Responsibilities:
The Data Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Director of clinical Quality and the Network Performance Team Stakeholders in the following way:
- Assist with overall development and execution of Local Market quality based best practices, programs, and data driven solutions that align to the needs of the Quality Director and the Quality Operations Team
- Perform complex data analysis to support overall process and quality outcome improvement outcomes with a focus on STARS/HEDIS/CAHPS and HOS
- Develop and update various types of report documentation, such as data specifications, data dictionaries, standard operating procedures, data flows, program inventories, etc.
- Develop data to ensure timely delivery of quality bases projects and goals as identified by the Quality Director
- Identify data improvement opportunities and develop associated action plans
- Responsible for management and manipulation of data with a focus on building reporting tools and assuring quality data
- Develop data solutions to support and perform analysis and interpret results including actionable insights for quality improvement
- Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate core data sources in support of department and team business goals and objectives
- Support the Business Analysts to implement and evaluate programs and projects, coordinate business goals and objectives, collaborate with project team members, develop measurable project goals and objectives, and monitor progress to completion
- Collaborate with Business Analysts to identify and recommend new or modified reporting for the Quality Director and CDO market’s consideration
- Support the Business Analysts in the development of all reports needed for internal quality team members and Local CDO Market
- Attend project and team meetings to review deliverables and deadlines
- Coordinate and facilitate meetings with Quality Directors and Team Managers
- Tailor internal and external communications with audience and purpose in mind
- Ensure successful team meeting outcomes through the preparation of meeting objectives, agendas, ensuring necessary supporting material is available, documentation of the meeting discussion and follow-up of action items
- Perform all other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Health Care Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or a related field (4+ years of comparable work experience beyond the required years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree)
- 3+ years of decision support, data analysis, or healthcare operations experience
- 2+ years of managed care, Care Delivery organization, or quality experience
- Intermediate/advanced level proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUPS, pivot tables, formulas, etc.)
- Proficiency in Word, Visio, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Intermediate level proficiency SQL
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ years of HEDIS, CAHPS/HOS, or similar performance measure experience
- Medicare Stars experience, or similar performance guarantee management or quality rating system experience
- Experience working in a matrixed work environment
- Experience working remotely
- Ability to interact one-on-one and consult with all levels of leadership
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Possession of solid analytical/statistical skills used in evaluating and analyzing data

- Ability to lift to 25 pounds
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time
- Ability to use fine motor skills to operate office equipment and/or machinery
- Ability to receive and comprehend instructions verbally and/or in writing

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $54,400 to $97,000. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $60,000 to $106,700.
