This position requires resource to work on new projects on SAS & TABLEAU technologies with good communication and technical (SAS, SQL, UNIX & TABLEAU) are needed in this role.
Positions in this function are responsible for the management and manipulation of different types of data, with a focus on building business intelligence tools, conducting analysis to distinguish patterns and recognize trends, performing normalization operations and assuring data quality. Depending on the specific role and business line, example responsibilities in this function could include creating specifications to bring data into a common structure, creating product specifications and models, developing data solutions to support analyses, performing analysis, creating dashboards, interpreting results, developing actionable insights and presenting recommendations for use across the company.
Roles in this function could partner with stakeholders to understand data requirements and develop tools and models such as segmentation, dashboards, data visualizations, decision aids and business case analysis to support the organization. Other roles involved could include producing and managing the delivery of activity and value analytics to external stakeholders and clients. Team members will typically use business intelligence, data visualization, query, analytic and statistical software to build solutions, perform analysis and interpret data. Positions in this function work on predominately descriptive and regression-based analytics and tend to leverage subject matter expert views in the design of their analytics and algorithms.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work in Development, Testing, and Building
- Be involved in troubleshooting and debugging critical problems and resolving complex technical issues that may arise
- Prioritize and manage work to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment for assigned projects
- Communicate with both technical and non-technical people
- Handle customer interaction and requirement gathering session with business and propose suggestions for improvements, enhancements, and contribute on solution development
- Work independently, handle and guide the team, and self-motivated
- Mentor junior developers on database and coding design problems to meet business requirements
- Collaborate with lead manager on ensuring and maintaining coding best practices and compliance standards
- Analyze and investigate
- Provide explanations and interpretations within area of expertise
- Handle multiple priorities and deadlines effectively and efficiently
- Generate the Reports through SAS Enterprise Guide and experience with SAS BI Tools
- Create wide variety of dashboard’s as per business requirements
- Be involved in manipulations/refresh of dashboards and Reports

Required Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of experience on SAS; hands-on experience with SAS/BASE, SAS/Advanced, SAS/SQL, SAS/MACROS, SAS/GRAPH, SAS/STAT, TABLEAU
- Hands-on experience in various design patterns and various dashboards creations/manipulations
- Experience in extracting data and creating; SAS datasets from various sources like Teradata, SQL Server, Netezza, Oracle, DB2, Access database, Excel and flat files
- Experience in developing, validating and implementing SAS programs and produce derived datasets for analysis and generating & documenting tables, listings and graphs for reports
- Experience in requirement analysis, design, development, testing and support of Finance, Banking or Health care domain projects using SAS Technologies
- Experience working with large data sets / systems / warehouses using SAS / SQL to translate data into information for decision making
- SAS developer with proficient knowledge on UNIX environment
- Extensive knowledge and experience on SAS EG, SAS Base, TABLEAU and SAS DI Studio
- Good knowledge of DWH-RDBMS concepts, proficient in SQL and SAS Programming
- Expertise in technical/business domain
- Expertise debugging capabilities and resolving the issues while executing the code and automate the process
- Skills in SAS Base and Advanced, TABLEAU and OLTP/OLAP systems
- Proficiency in data-handling and analysis software
- Good communication skills and interact to the customers on frequent basis
- Good analytical and self-learning skills
- Ability to fix jobs due to logic/code issues and able to do jobs modifications based on the requirements
- Ability to analyze the code, understand the purpose, modify the code to run successfully
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet the deadlines as and when required
