The Development Analyst is responsible for creating solutions based on requirements using SQL. The person in this role is responsible for writing business and/or technical requirements and validating that the developed solutions meet those needs. They will be required to interpret specifications and apply it to code. They will actively participate in ensuring high quality solutions and applies an understanding of testing methodologies.

The Development Analyst will effectively communicate with business stakeholders and the QA/UAT team and will contribute to solution design through analysis and discussion. They are responsible for the documentation of processes, are aware of agreed-upon timeframes and protocols and holds themselves accountable for meeting high standards.

The above will be achieved through demonstrated integrity, improving the client experience and clearly collaborating with others.

Required Qualifications:

• BS/BA or equivalent experience
• 4+ years T-SQL and SQL Server experience
• 4+ years SSIS experience
• Sound team collaboration experience

Preferred Qualifcations:

• Python, C# or .NET experience
• Health care claims experience
• Experience deriving and building case-based testing from business requirements
• Self-starter and ability to prioritize tasks to ensure deliverables are met
• Sound analytical problem-solving skills
• Solid problem solving, analytical and critical thinking skills

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $82,100 to $146,900. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $90,500 to $161,600. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
