Primary Responsibilities
- Evaluate business requirements and prepare the detailed functional and technical specifications that follow project guidelines
- Build Platform-as-a-Service and Cloud solution with a focus on data stores and associated eco systems for state of art marketing application
- Duties include management of designs, providing sizing and configuration assistance, ensuring strict data quality, and performing needs assessments
- Develop and evaluate code to ensure the efficient operation of the business function
- Functions include building efficient cloud database architecture, design, optimization; as well as data modeling, big data development, Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) development, storage engineering, data warehousing, data provisioning and other similar roles
- Key player in the Agile scrum team helping with grooming the backlogs and updating acceptance criteria
- Work closely with Marketing business teams to strategize solutions that support long term business objectives

Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of Python/Java programming experience
- 5+ years of SQL experience
- 3+ years of hands-on cloud technology experience
- 2+ years of ETL experience
- Ability to work with business users & technical teams

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors / Masters Degree or Equivalent experience
- Machine learning experience with in-depth knowledge in various algorithms
- Experience with Big Data platform [such as Hadoop, HIVE and PIG] is plus
- Experience with data visualization tool is plus
- Statistical and analytical skills
- Solid DB skills
- Knowledge of Java Spring boot, FLASK/Django
- Knowledge with Agile Rally environments
