The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for both accessing and supporting requests for our Human Resource and Payroll Systems. This position provides support for our core Human Resources, Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting, and Payroll Systems for product and content owners. This position is also responsible for providing consulting and support of interfaces to other systems within our enterpriseโs technology landscape.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Engage with our company’s International HR and Payroll Operation Teams to support their business initiatives and system requests
- Conduct insightful, ad hoc analyses to investigate ongoing or one-time operational issues
- Support Human Capital in their use of our HR and Payroll Systems to support our employees and managers
- Be a point of escalation to IT for HR and Payroll Systems projects, requests, and issues
- Work with other members of our Human Capital Systems, supporting our projects and initiatives
- Engage and support requests for integrations to other Human Capital technologies and systems
- Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends
- Support HR and Payroll system maintenance duties and configuration requests
- Execute and support testing of system changes
- Assist in audit support
- Solve system issues by joint planning with the Business and Technical teams throughout the Software Development Life Cycle
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years working with enterprise Human Resource system or equivalent experience, for a large organization (PeopleSoft, Oracle HR, SAP, Workday)
- 5+ years of experience and proficiency in Microsoft software, including advanced Excel skills
- At least 2 implementations/upgrades of a major HCM package
- Proficiency in HCM Modules for Core HR, International Payroll
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong analytic skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and must be detail-oriented
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Time and Attendance, Benefits and Compensation
- Functional PeopleSoft knowledge
