Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess technology opportunities:
- Translate ideas into solutions
- Collaborate with operational teams to obtain and interpret requirements
- Conduct process design/mapping
- Partner with relevant stakeholders to establish project deliverables, dependencies, and success criteria
- Oversee Project Plans:
- Develop, document and implement project plans
- Manage communication among all applicable stakeholders and technology development team
- Resolve conflicts among project participants
- Distribute project reports/documentation in an easily understand and timely manner
- Establish feedback loops to monitor ongoing progress
- Present and report out technology initiatives to various leadership
- Lead project implementation with minimal guidance
- Implement Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks/issues then recommend solutions/contingency plans
- Communicate and implement risk management plans
- Ensure resolution of identified and assigned risks
- Develop/monitor/maintain applicable risk/issue logs
- Ensure controls are established
- Deliver Benefits:
- Estimate and obtain potential benefits, costs, and resource requirements
- Conduct time studies to ascertain efficiency improvements
- Obtain approvals/signoffs in order to facilitate solution implementation
- Ensure benefit tracking/reporting are operationalized
- Conduct Testing:
- Create user acceptance testing templates
- Document and communicate outcomes with operational stakeholders
- Resolve defects before deployment
- Work in Agile Methodology:
- Operate as part of a Scrum team
- Participating in Agile activities including creating and refining/defining user stories with clear descriptions and acceptance criteria
- Attend and engage in daily stand-up calls
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
- Graduate or Masters – Any discipline
- 3+ years of Inventory management experience leading cross-functional teams within Govt Appeals
- Demonstrate understanding of:
- Project management principles and methodologies
- Government Programs strategic objectives
- Upstream and downstream impacts to business partners
- Relevant regulations and operational systems (DDE, ATS, ETS, Macess, COSMOS, NICE, FACETS, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Six Sigma experience, Black Belt or Green Belt
- Agile or Design Thinking training and experience
- Experience with RPA (robotic process automation), ML (machine learning), and/or Macros technologies
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to influence all stakeholders and interested parties to negotiate consensus around project goals
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills with the ability to form meaningful relationships with teammates and stakeholders
- Strong time-management skills; ability to balance projects of varying complexity simultaneously
