Infrastructure and Devops Engineer
Position Overview:
We are looking for people who can handle implementation and support of application/web server infrastructure, Server configuration management, release management, deployments, automation & troubleshooting, Manage Code Repositories. Design, Implement and optimize DevOps automation for On-Prem, Cloud and Hybrid deployments. Expert in relevant tools and technologies like Chef, Docker, Jenkins, GitHub, Ansible, Puppet If this sounds like something you are already doing and are passionate about, then we want to talk to you!
Work You’ll Do
- Responsible for implementation and support of application/web server infrastructure,
- Server configuration management, release management, deployments, automation & troubleshooting,
- Manage Code Repositories.
- Design, Implement and optimize DevOps automation for On-Prem, Cloud and Hybrid deployments.
- Expert in relevant tools and technologies like Chef, Docker, Jenkins, GitHub, Ansible, , Puppet
- Should be able to contribute independently
- Adherence to Oracle internal processes
- Working with different internal stake holders in Oracle
- Working with bank and partners for delivery of Oracle Deliverables.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience in implementing continuous integration & continuous delivery strategies.
- Design, Build & Deploy automation strategies.
Hands on experience with at least one of the each DevOps tools
- Configuration Management: Ansible, Chef, Puppet
- Scripting & Programming language: Python, Ruby, Gradle, Java
- Containerization: Docker
- Source code management: Git, Subversion
- Continuous Integration: Jenkins, Hudson
Good to have
- Middleware: Weblogic, Tomcat, JBoss
- Database: Oracle, Mysql, NoSql databases
- Experience in Flexcube – retail and corporate products in similar role is a significant plus
Soft Skills:
- Good communication skills
- Leadership skills to lead, motivate and guide a team
Others:
- Willingness to travel Onsite to Customer if required.
Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters in Engineering or Science

5-7 years of experience relevant to this position including 2 years consulting experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.
