You will be conceptualizing, designing, and overseeing implementation of solutions using scalable architecture design.

What we are looking for:
We are looking for an experienced data engineer and cloud architect to join our team. He should be able to create and manage large scale data infrastructure and tools, including collecting, storing, processing and analyzing our data and data systems. Develop and set processes for data mining, data modelling, and data production and can collaborate with others members of team (e.g. data architects, ETL, data scientists) on the projects goals. Also, set up, technically lead and deploy auto architectures in development, test, stage and production environments.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- Design, construct, install, test and maintain data management systems.
- Build high-performance data engineering algorithms, and prototypes.
- Ensure that all systems meet the business/company requirements as well as -industry practices.
- Integrate up-and-coming data management and software engineering technologies into existing and new data structures.
- Develop set processes for data mining, data modeling, and data lineage.
- Collaborate with members of your team (e.g., data architects, the IT team, data scientists) on the projects goals.
- Recommend different ways to constantly improve data reliability and quality.
- Work on proposals, RFIs/RFPs, execute PoCs and pilot projects for customers.
- Contribute to Data Engineering practice in building the capabilities in new age tools and technologies.
- Evaluate domain, financial and technical feasibility of solution ideas with help of all key stakeholders.
Skills:
Must Have:
- At least 8+ years of experience in data engineering, BI engineering, and data warehouse development
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in GCP cloud native services such as BigQuery, Dataproc, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Data Fusion, Data Catalog, Cloud Composer and Google Data Studio.
- Strong knowledge and experience in Cloud Big table, Cloud Spanner, Cloud SQL, Database Migration Service, Firebase Realtime Database and Memory store.
- Respond to RFPs providing the solution Architecture
- Experience in architecting and designing solutions leveraging services like Cloud Bigquery, Cloud Data Flow, Cloud Pub OR Sub, Cloud BigTable
- Familiarity with the technology stack available in the industry for metadata management: Data Governance, Data Quality, MDM, Lineage, Data Catalog etc.
- Familiarity with the Technology stack available in the industry for data management, data ingestion, capture, processing and curation.
- Experience with any scripting languages, preferably Python.
- Exposure in building Apache Spark based data processing jobs is a plus.
- Excellent spoken and written skills in English in order to communicate with stakeholders
Good to Have:
- GCP certified Cloud Architect certification.
- Exposure to any BI tool is a plus.
