Roles and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user requirements and translate them into test cases •
- Develop and execute manual and automated test cases to ensure software quality • Identify, report and track software defects and work with developers to resolve them •
- Perform regression testing to ensure changes do not negatively impact existing functionality.
- Participate in the development and improvement of test processes and procedures •
- Work closely with developers, product managers and business analysts to ensure software meets user needs and requirements •
- Conduct root cause analysis of defects and work with development teams to prevent future occurrences •
- Continuously improve testing strategies and approaches.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field •
- 1+ years of experience in software testing.
- Fresh grads are also welcomed
- Experience in automated & manual testing using tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, or TestComplete
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Experience with agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
- Ability to write SQL queries to validate test data
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
