Requisition Summary

This position is engaged in the activities of the Continuous Improvement and Business Systems group in PACCAR Purchasing. As such, there will be varied tasks and duties in the areas of process improvement and system support. Purchasing Program Analysts are change agents, focused on delivering the highest value to internal and external customers.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

Daily activities in support of this mission include:

  • Develop and deploy new tools to improve the efficiency of the Purchasing Department.
  • Create work instructions and training videos to support the adoption of new tools.
  • Utilize PowerApps to automate manual business processes.
  • Create standardized reports in Tableau to improve Purchasing’s accessibility to useful supplier information.
  • Provide support to Commodity Managers and Suppliers in the PACCAR Purchasing System (PPS) and Part Number Generator (PNG) Business Systems.
  • Maintain Purchasing’s Information Site to ensure that published resources are current.
  • Maintain/Enhance Purchasing’s standard processes and procedures.
  • Administer supplier labor contracts.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 2-5 years of purchasing, engineering, data analytics, or related experience is preferred. Commercial transportation, heavy equipment, or automotive experience is a plus.
  • Ready to learn and make use of new processes and techniques while being resourceful with problem solving approach.
  • Willingness to grow personally and professionally.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with different teams to meet objectives and timelines.
  • Creative and results-driven work ethic.
  • Demonstrated leadership to accomplish company goals.
  • Excellent communication skills – written, verbal, and presentation.
  • Advanced in Excel, SharePoint, Tableau, and PowerApps.
  • Able to travel as needed (Domestic and International)

EDUCATION/TRAINING REQUIRED:
BS Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Business Systems (IT), Engineering, Finance, or related field
