What This Position Is All About:

• A Data Scientist is responsible for building data science and machine learning solutions for our business stakeholders.
• Own a business problem and deliver end-to-end solution by applying advanced Machine
• Learning algorithms and complex statistical models on large volumes of data.
• Support the team in demonstrating to business stakeholders the value of the solution.
• Collaborate with other team members in achieving data science outcomes and handle multiple products and initiatives.
• Follow industry best practices, stay up to date with and extend the state of the art in machine learning research and practice, drive innovation by contributing towards publications and patents.
• Promote and support company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.

You Also Have:

• Excellent knowledge of the foundations of machine learning and statistics and high proficiency in data mining, modeling, validation, and insight generation.

• Solid experience working with state-of-the-art supervised and unsupervised machine learning algorithms on real-world problems, preferably in ecommerce and retail domains.
• Strong Python coding skills and flexibility in coding languages.
• Ability to work in big data ecosystem – expert in SQL and ability to work with Spark.
• Able to understand the business and good stakeholder management capabilities and applies possesses a product mindset when designing solutions
• Understanding of cloud computing platforms like AWS and large-scale databases
• Proven ability to collaborate and work in teams and experienced in agile format on data science sprint projects
• Experience should be relevant to the role.
• Educational qualifications should be preferably in statistics or engineering fields such as computer science or a related area.

• Machine Learning, Statistics, AWS, Python, Pyspark, SQL

Additional Qualifications:

• Good to have experience in customer analytics, recommendation systems or Product Development.
