The pricing analyst will be responsible for day-to-day pricing activities including product positioning and market strategy. This position will use pricing and data knowledge to compare it with competitor pricing for similar items, review previous sales data, and deciding a market price for our products based on their findings.

Responsibilities

• Works closely with Director, Global Pricing and Pricing Manager to develop and implement best in class price management processes and communication methods for multi-channel customers.
• Works with Product Management to develop and implement product price strategies including segment strategies for the various markets and channels.
• Leads trade agreement price process with Commercial Finance and Customer Care support; communicates pricing changes to internal/external customers.
• Works with Product Management to coordinate special project quotations.
• Collects and analyzes data to validate competitive pricing.
• Primary point of contact for pricing questions.
• Establishes a system of documentation, communication and review of internal and external comparative price data, including wins and losses due to price.
• Price floor management including analyzing inconsistencies and identifying opportunities to optimize sales and profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Business or Marketing.
• 1+ years of related experience.
• Efficient and detail oriented.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Power Point, Excel, Word, Access).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, decision making, human relations, and communication skills.
• Customer-driven sense of urgency.
• Ability to organize workload to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.

What you’ll do:

As part of our Innovation Data Science team, you will play a key role in leading and building out our recommendation, ranking systems, and entity resolution stack, which will support a variety of business use cases:

• Lead the development of state-of-the-art entity and identity resolution algorithms to enhance the accuracy and reliability of our data assets.
• Design and implement advanced recommender systems to identify high-intent companies and contacts, optimizing customer engagement and conversion rates over time.

What you will bring:

• Experience: MS + 7yrs or PhD + 5yrs in quantitative field: Statistics, Applied Math, Computer Science, Physics or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience building personalized recommender systems and entity resolution algorithms, employing advanced techniques such as deep learning-based models, sequential recommendation algorithms, reinforcement learning frameworks, and/or dynamic re-ranking.

• Theory: Understanding of latest deep learning architectures and when to apply a given pre-trained model. Some experience with techniques like prompt engineering, fine tuning, reinforcement learning w/ human feedback, model distillation and model compression. Up-to-date on recent advances in the LLM space.
• Communication: Able to navigate large projects with multiple collaborators. Excellent cross-functional and verbal communication skills, enabling seamless communication with business partners and stakeholders.
