Job Title: BI Developer
Location: Pune
We are looking for developer to join Sales IT team in Pune. This team member must have good experience in Database and Data ware house development. She/he should have hands on experience in Microsoft Business intelligent technologiesSQL Server, Integration services (SSIS), SSRS & Automation Scripting – Python, Java etc.). As a part of the role the individual would also be responsible to technically and functionally execute the deliverables in agile fashion. This position involves hands-on development on T-SQL Coding and ETL package development (SSIS & Python). She/he will be responsible for designing BI solution in collaboration with our globally distributed development teams.
What will you be doing?
- Translates Business requirements (Sales, Research, RSG) into low level design for database architecture.
- Need to work with SQL Server databases. Creating & maintaining Database object like table, Views function.
- Should have clear understanding of fundamentals of Data were hosing & Data management in Data ware house.
- Creating Store procedures and Writing ETL- SSIS packages to load, Clean & Massage data for Data ware house.
- Write automation for data load and data manipulation using Script technologies like – Python, Java.
- Should be able to understand End to End flow of data. Business data representation for same.
What we’re looking for:
- Relevant experience on MS SQL Database Server and MS Business Intelligence Technology.
- Fundamental knowledge of Data Ware House Design & Development.
- Hands on experience in ETL Development primary using tools like SSIS & Python.
- Knowledge of investment banking specifically Sales and Research business (Sales Credit, Reference data, Interactions and Events).
- Good analytical skills, creative thinking skills and a quick learner.
Skills that will help you in the role:
- Experience with agile development methodologies leveraging DevOps best practices will be added advantage.
- Understanding of AWS technology will be added advantage.
- Energetic and motivated, willing to take on challenging tasks, work independently and take on time pressure
- Excellent Communication and organization skills
