Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from Tier I/II colleges (Post Graduation – Good to have, not mandatory)
• 1-3 years of experience in data analytics role with expertise in (Power BI and/or Tableau) & SQL
• Extensive experience in building the reports/ dashboards across BI tools & techniques
• Must have working knowledge of different types of charts, tables, filters, calculated fields, parameters, functions, blending, LODs etc. in Tableau and/or Power BI
• Ability to build medium to complex interactive dashboards using different type of data sources in Tableau/ Power BI
• Skill in identifying data issues and anomalies during analysis.
• Strong business acumen & demonstrated aptitude for analytics that incite action.

JOB Responsibilities:

• PowerBI product development, maintaining the new version of the Snapshot application.
• Development/maintenance of complex Excel-based reports/SQL sprocs
• Time sensitive data queries of project databases.
• Run various internal data queries to fetch data, such as QA queries in fixed interval/as requested or to answer operations-related questions.

You are part of a 40 people team dedicated to produce and to deliver data coming from Ad’hoc consumer panel analysis. Your focus is to set up Dashboards and design process flow to update those reports with regularly refreshed dataset.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work as an expert to convert Consumer Panel & Survey data into Power BI Dashboards.
• Maintain existing deliverables in Power BI for both USA and Other regions (Global).
• Manage and create ETL pipelines (Azure, Python, PowerBI).
• Drive consistency in deliverables created for clients from different parts of the world.
• Manage data transformation (e.g. using Python) and data presentation (Power BI).
• Prepare the framework for the modelers and help the modelers to develop their knowledge on Power BI.
• Collaborate with modeling/analytic teams to define the best approach based on Client needs & cost efficiency.
• Partner with client consultants on data visualization options and optimize design.
• Work seamlessly with Nielsen associates across geographies on a daily basis.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Azure (Logic Apps, Datafactory), Python and SQL is an asset.
• PowerBI experience including DAX language and Power Query
• MS Office 365 environment including PowerApps and PowerAutomate.
• Foundational knowledge of statistical methods.
• Analytical mind and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with other visualization tools like Tableau, Spotfire would be an asset.
• Good communication skills (both oral & written in English)
• Ability to work autonomously.
