Qualifications:

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Aggregate data from various sources, manipulate and analyze them at scale, support strategic and tactical initiatives

Extract and transform data and join datasets from different sources (AWS S3, MSSQL Server, Snowflake, EDW, Google Analytics, etc.) and with different formats (xlsx, csv, .json, etc)

Process, cleanse, and verify data-integrity for analysis. Analyze data for errors and inconsistencies

Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets, comprising of both structured and unstructured data, using statistical techniques and advanced analytics .

Very Strong hands on experience in Machine Learning Algorithms.

Successful implementation and deployment of at-least 3 full scale Data Science Project.

Successfully lead a team of Data Scientist for end to end implementation.

Strong Hands on experience on technologies like R, Python, SQL Server, Machine Learning, Neural Networks and NLP

Strong communication and story-telling skills.

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree in related field or equivalent experience

8+ experience managing large data sets and analyzing data for actionable insights.

Experience taking transactional business data, analyzing that data to answer a core research question and using analytics tools and systems to present the findings and insights

Experience querying/joining databases and using statistical computer languages: R, Python, SQL, SPSS, etc.

Proficiency in presentation (PowerBI or PowerPoint)

Experience with data mining and data cleaning, including JSON data formats

Knowledgeable in Agile software development and DevOps methodologies. Familarity with version control tools (Github, Bitbucket, etc) & JIRA is a plus

Has strong presentation and collaboration skills and can communicate all aspects of the job requirements, including the creation of formal documentation

POSITION SUMMARY

We are currently seeking a driven and talented Senior Software Engineer to join our Order Connectivity team. As a Senior Software Engineer you will work on our award-winning trading platform which incorporates robust, high-performance tools for spread trading, strategy creation, algorithmic and automated trading, black-box execution, high-frequency proximity-based trading and more.

WHAT WILL YOU BE INVOLVED WITH?

• Code day to day in C++ and other programming languages
• Design and implement software requirements and new product features
• Enhance and maintain existing functionality

• Evolve the new software platform and architecture by introducing new components and integrating them with existing ones
• Perform memory and resource management analysis as well as performance improvements

• Adhere to release and sprint planning with the Quality Assurance Group and Project Management

QUALIFICATIONS & TT CULTURE

• What You Bring to the Table:
• A minimum of 5 years extensive and proven development experience with C++ (ideally utilizing C++ 11 or higher)
• Proficient with template and meta programming in general
• Proficient in debugging methods and tools (GDB, Address Sanitizer, etc.)
• Direct experience with object-oriented design skills
• Proficient in multi-threaded applications with a focus on performance
• Working knowledge of various IPC mechanisms
• Experience developing components in a distributed system
• Clean coding style with emphasis on readability
• Familiarity with Git is a plus
• Familiarity with TCP/IP and UDP protocols is a plus
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements and working application code
• Experience in the trading industry (specifically order routing) and with industry protocols such as FIX is strongly preferred
