What success looks like in this role:

• Data Backup & Restore Administration using Symantec Veritas NetBackup, Backup Exec, EMC Avamar, CommVault and similar tools
• Ensure Backup and Restore Success rate and other metrics is in line with Contractual requirements
• Daily verification of Backup Jobs and Restart of failed jobs, as required.
• Perform Troubleshooting of Problems / Issues in the Backup system and Backup Target devices, Tape Libraries etc.
• Add / Remove backup jobs for new / decommissioned systems in line with policies
• Escalate to Senior Members and/or Vendors on deep technical issues and work with them through the resolution of such issues
• Execute Incident management, Change Management and Problem management in line with ITIL Standards and in line with client SLAs
• Create Daily, Weekly and Monthly Backup Reports. Review the reports for anomalies and correct them.
• Integrate well and work closely with other Technical Team members
• Work with other cross-functional teams like Server Team, Storage SAN team, Database team, Incident management team etc.
• Communicate issues that may impact the Backup team or other cross-functional teams.
• Communicate with the Onsite Datacenter teams and Media management teams for various function
• 1 to 3 Years of overall Experience in IT Services and Systems Management
• 1 to 3 Years of Data Backup Administration in different Backup technologies Commvault, Avamar, Data Domain, NetBackup, Networker
• Good Knowledge with ITIL Processes (Incident, Problem and Change Management). Preferably ITIL Foundation Certified
• Very Good Learning and Analytical Skills; Should be able to quickly acquire Technical Knowledge and Skills
• Knowledge in using Service Management Tool like Remedy, Service Center etc.
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Should have worked in a Remote Support Environment

You will be successful in this role if you have:

• University degree or equivalent education and experience • Minimum of 1 year relevant experienceExcellent verbal and written communication, logical and analytical skills. •Strong knowledge of ITIL Modules like Incident, Change and Problem Management. •Ability to support multiple clients/ technologies as part of shared support delivery. •Must be client focused, display interpersonal skills and be an effective team member.

Role:

• Hands-on developer who writes high quality, secure code for a small to mid-sized component or feature that is modular, functional and testable.
• Contribute to all parts of the software’s development including design, development, documentation, and testing.
• Have strong ownership of your team’s software and are deep in the maintenance characteristics, runtime properties and dependencies including hardware, operating system, and build.
• Communicate, collaborate and work effectively in a global environment.

About You:

• Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Strong foundation in algorithms, data structures and core computer science concepts.
• Evidence of working with object-oriented development and design patterns.
• Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages such as Java, Python, C++ etc.
• Strong written and verbal English communications skills.
• Strong analytical and excellent problem solving skills.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.

The Customer Experience organization provides a common interface to customers including account and relationship management, acting as the voice of the customer internally and creating demand across our business groups. While bringing deep understanding of local markets for our customer, the CX organization ensures strong alignment between sales and delivery teams.

As part of the Quality organization Candidate would monitor and take action for the quality control of a specific quality area. Solve quality issues innovatively and actively. Assure compliance to in-house andor external specifications and standards e.g. ISO regulations. Contribute to planning and deployment of agreed quality projects within own expertise area. Handle semi routine tasks requiring some discretion and judgment. Carry out tasks/activities according to assignment and set guidelines with moderate degree of supervision and coaching.

As part of our team, you will:

• Develop and Implement Quality metrics and scorecards.Prepare and present Quality KPI reports.Utilizes Quality tools and techniques e.g. RCA / Continuous improvement
• Provides support on utilization and development of knowledge on Quality methods and tools. Understand Quality system and responsible business area processes and in line with agreed standards e.g. ISO 9001:2008, TL9000
• Execute Quality & Continuous Improvement tasks. Provide support and guidance on quality matters. Interface and communicate with different teams within the organization on quality issues.
• Assure compliance to in-house and/or external specifications and standards. Conducts and supports Quality Management System audits and reviews. Carry out Quality reviews & Process Audits and ensure that the Quality System is implemented consistently & effectively.
• Regular communication on quality topics and issues. Promotes and develops Quality Culture and mindset. Continuously monitors document Quality during the case lifecycle. Promote Quality competence training and development

Your skills and experience

Position Requirements:

• Minimum 6-8 years of experience in Quality domain with good Communication / Presentation skills/ Statistical Skills/Data affinity/ Analytical Thinking and Facilitation and interpersonal skills
• Multi Tasking / Time Management/Change Management skills/ Quality Mindset and basic awareness to Lean, Six Sigma & ISO
• Computer skills with minimum MS office suite (Excel, Power point & Word)
