What You Will Do

• Work with Data Scientists, Product Engineers, and Product Managers to build, deploy, and scale Data Science solutions for routing optimization and supply forecasting to improve our delivery efficiency

What You Will Need

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in either Statistics, Econometrics Mathematics or Computer Science
• At least 5 years of experience in related fields including Data Scientist, Operation Research
• Understands different approaches to mathematical optimization
• Proficiency in a programming language (either R, Python)
• Preferably, has a domains experience in Supply Chain Management or Operations management with exposure to problems like demand planning, calculating optimal network flow, network optimization, etc.

Work you will do

This role is highly focused on building the capabilities for our Controllership Innovation pillar where the individual will take part in multi-innovation initiatives. The Innovation pillar is the pioneer in building market offerings around a suite of Transformation services for the controllership function including Purpose Built Automation, Accounting Information Science, Analytics & Insights, Intelligent Automation and Finance Governance & Compliance.

In this role, you should be highly analytical with a knack for analysis, math, and statistics. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential for interpreting data. We also want to see a passion for machine-learning and research. You will analyze, manipulate, and manage data to deliver meaningful insights necessary to help companies of all sizes and across multiple industries address regulatory and business challenges. Responsibilities may include:

• Understand the business problem, identify the key challenges, and formalize the problem algorithmically
• Perform exploratory data analyses using descriptive statistics and other methods
• Prepares data for analysis by cleansing, conditioning, transforming, handling missing fields, identifying new feature variables.
• Use advanced analytics techniques such as machine learning, statistical analysis, deep learning and occasionally variations of mathematical optimizations.
• Integrate and deploy the rules/models developed with the existing product code.

Controllership team provides an extensive range of financial accounting and reporting services with a comprehensive industry-focused approach.

Qualifications Required:

• Proven experience as a Data Scientist or Data Analyst of at least 2 Years.
• Experience in data mining
• Understanding of machine-learning and operations research
• Knowledge of R and Python (Data Science Libraries Scikit Learn, Pyspark; with Pandas)
• Experience using business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI and Qlik) and data frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Hive)
• Strong Hold on ETL Tools like (SQL, Alteryx, SAS etc) and ETL concepts.
• Working Knowledge of concepts like Predictive Forecasting, Statistical Modelling and Machine Learning with Huge Data.

What You Will Do

• Use your experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, Software Engineering, distributed systems to develop these systems, work with the platform team to take the systems to production
