What role will you play as a member of the Colgate’s Information Technology team?

Data Engineers focus on expanding and optimizing our data, data pipeline architecture, data flow and collection for multi-functional teams. The Data Engineer will be an experienced data pipeline builder and data wrangler who enjoys optimizing data systems and building them from the ground up. You will support our software developers, data analysts and data scientists on data initiatives and will ensure efficient data delivery architecture is consistent throughout ongoing projects. What you’ll need…(Required)

• Bachelor’s degree required, Graduate degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems or another quantitative field a plus
• We are looking for a candidate with at least XX years of experience in a Data Engineer role
• Working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases
• Experience building and optimizing ‘big data’ data pipelines, architectures and data sets.
• Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and find opportunities for improvement

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Mechanical Engineering team is increasing capabilities to support projects in the Oil, Gas and Chemicals, business unit of Bechtel Global. There is a vacancy in the New Delhi office for professional with OG&C experience as Mechanical Static (Columns and their Internals/Pressures Vessels/Heat Exchangers/Air Cooled HEx/Filters/Tanks/Static Packages) Engineer, qualified to degree level. A minimum of seven years’ industrial experience is required for this position. Candidate should have held a mid-level position (Responsible Engineer) in the Engineering team for execution of Basic/Conceptual Engineering, FEED, EPCM, EPC modes of execution for Indian / International projects.

The Mechanical Engineer will report to the AL/GL/APE/PEM and duties will include the following:

• Plan and conduct independent work carried out with sound engineering practices and of desired quality within schedule and cost
• Review of Process package for completeness of Process and Mechanical related data
• Review of PFDs, PIDs, MSDs, Data sheets. Commenting/review on the same for completeness
