Job Responsibilities

As a Senior Business Analyst, you shall be working closely with the Founder’s office with a comprehensive exposure and learning of various facets of all departments within the organization. You will have an immediate impact on the company’s culture, productivity and will be responsible to streamline strategic initiatives, oversee program management, and communicate objectives between teams. This would be a high-visibility role.

We are looking for someone with prior working knowledge or exposure to metrics related to sales, and operations. The person will contribute to our growth by helping senior leadership with unbiased insights & advice which they need to make the right decisions every day.

Core Responsibilities:

• The senior business analyst will work on the company, competition, industry, sales, marketing, and lead generation metrics

• Summarize research findings, help visualize and build data story that is reported via a structured report in MS Word, Excel, or PowerPoint format

• Undertake primary research based on well-defined research objective/hypothesis; develop a questionnaire to support agendas driven by Product, Marketing or Sales

• Be able to work with cross-functional teams to run weekly, monthly, quarterly review meetings

• Demonstrate complete ownership of the tasks/projects assigned and co-ordinate/collaborate with other teams to achieve business objectives

• Work with the leadership on key strategic initiatives for the organization

• Ensure the leadership has access to accurate reports, dashboards and data-driven insights to aid in decision making

• Help execute large cross-functional, organization-wide projects or initiatives

• bring together important stakeholders and help drive outcomes

• Collaboration, communication, and support across people and teams to plan and implement a high-performing work environment.

• Manage communication between management and employees, liaising with internal and external executives on various projects and tasks

This role directly reports to the founders

Basic Requirements

• MBA NOT mandatory. Graduation from Tier 1 colleges is preferred. A degree in quant heavy subjects (Engineering/Mathematics/Statistics/Finance etc.) from a Tier I college
• Comfortable in handling data and possessing deep analytical abilities
• Exceptional knowledge of Microsoft Excel and SQL. Proficient in PowerPoint.

• Familiarity with a statistical programming language (R, Python, Julia) preferred

• Problem solverWe are looking for someone who loves solving unstructured problems and are excited about using research techniques to draw insights and provide answers to key business problems/hypothesis

• Ability to multitask, thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment

• Strong relationships building skills; prior experience managing stakeholders and partners to drive cross-functional programs

• High bias for action and ability to handle multiple time-critical projects at the same time

• Resourcefulness and resilience to navigate through ambiguity and get things done

• Track record of ownership and tenaciously looking for ways to get results & improve the status quo.
