What you will do

• Develop a deep understanding of our application and platform, as well as the multiple components in our system
• Analyze problems of low complexity, diagnose and fix bugs of low complexity when appropriate
• Work with developers to identify and resolve more complicated problems
• Resolve ad-hoc queries raised by operations teams/business teams
• Address urgent issues quickly, work within and measure against customer SLAs
• Surface customer feedback to the team
• Maintain an ongoing record of problem analysis and resolution activity in an on-call tracking system
• Proactively monitor production and nonproduction environments and applications
• Work with design and engineering teams through feature implementations

Qualifications

• 12 years of exposure to MySQL and writing SQL queries and optimizing them.
• Prior experience in production support and programming
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet
• Ability to coordinate with the tech and product team to report bugs and product enhancement

About the department

Global IT GBS is the unit responsible for more than 40 global IT systems at Novo Nordisk including the operation, maintenance, support and development of these systems. The systems are used on a global scale by all areas of the business from R&D to Sales and are critical to the execution of key business processes such as development, manufacturing, sales, finance, etc. FLIT – Systems (Finance & Legal IT) department has systems which support finance and legal processes in Novo Nordisk.

The position

The position holder is primarily responsible for managing and supporting finance/legal critical systems of NNI region and supporting System Manager in handling 2-3 systems. The Key objectives for the position are related to the areas involving daily support to Line of Business, incident management, problem management, create/update project documentation like URS, FDS and CIL, etc. Further involve in configuration of the system based on the design documents and responsible for testing activities related to development of test cases and test reports for user acceptance testing. Furthermore, will be responsible for compliance with Quality Docs, change management including system upgrades, enhancements, implementation of Sarbox controls where applicable. You will also act as a techno-functional expert and single point of contact for users/affiliates.

Role

Key responsibilities include

• Partnering with global product functions to develop and execute GTM plans and activities for product commercialization in the region (e.g. Insights platforms such as Mastercard Intelligence Center, Next Gen Analytics products).
• Drive the optimization of usage and revenue for subscription products amongst the customers within the divisions and markets.

• The Operations Platform Associate Analyst will support the operational systems used across Data & Services. Support to include the delivery of training, execution of adoption campaigns, implementation of data improvement efforts, reporting, and assisting with testing updates. These systems to include Order Management, Sales (saleforce.com), FinancialForce PSA, and other new platforms implemented related to operations globally

Role

• Provides first tier technical and process support directly for inquiries for Business Operation’s platforms, to include support related to workflow, customer profiles, and record adjustments
• Leads onboarding and training to business users to help drive increased adoption of functionality and productivity tools
• Under general supervision, supports investigation and resolution of issues, concerns and requests
• Conducts periodic Quality Control checks and Data Audits
• Supports the Business Operations Solutions team in the daily management and maintenance of the operational systems used across Advisors
• Supports platform maintenance and enhancements as defined in the operations roadmap for integration and improvements

All About You

• BS/BA degree or combination of experience and formal education
• Experience contributing to the delivery of accurate and timely resolutions to inquires under direct guidance
• Demonstrates strong knowledge of customer service standards, processes and tools
• Demonstrates ability to contribute to support projects/inquiries
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
