What will your job look like?

  • Reflect customer needs by assembling business documents and technical requirements.

Introduction:

This role is a member of the Strategic Implementation Program (SIP) focused on materially improving Risk, Finance and Treasury Data and Processes within the Investment Bank. Key streams within SIP includes migrating end-of-day risk to the strategic risk-engines, re-platforming Market Risk’s processes and migrating product accounting onto the firms Strategic Sub-Ledger, MOTIF. This role will play a key part in focusing, by Asset Class, on the data required for these and other streams to successfully deliver against their milestones.

What will you be doing?

  • Work closely with the stream Business Analysts to understand business requirements and how they translate into system, data and process change. With particular emphasis around the Data components. Identify points of overlap and contention across the various streams and use this to formulate a sensible sequencing of change.
  • Partner with CIOs and Architects to design solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Understand the roadmap to Strategically Source data and perform comparisons between Legacy and Target data sources to ensure they reconcile or differences are understood and substantiated or remediated.
  • Other prioritised Data focuses such as focusing on Data Quality, Data Controls, Data Lineage and sourcing from designated Authoritative Sources.
  • The candidate will become part of a team of SMEs who will be the ‘go to’ experts for key data related focuses both front-to-back, and across product.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience of working within Risk, Finance or Treasury within an Investment Bank with good knowledge of Credit, Macro and Equity Investment Banking Products as well as front-to-back flows.
  • Very knowledgeable about either Market Risk or Credit Risk Processes and methodology and/or end-of-day Risk processes.
  • The role holder will be a strong communicator with experience of running meetings involving a diverse set of stakeholders
  • Strong experience of working with Data relating to Investment Bank Products, ideally with experience at constructing SQL-type queries to review and compare data sets.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to inform business decisions.

Understand the business needs of the customer and assess the impact of those needs in order to communicate and implement the recommended efficient solutions.


What will your job look like?

  • Reflect customer needs by assembling business documents and technical requirements.
  • Advise customers based on product capabilities and methodologies, applying reuse where applicable.
  • Design holistic and integrated high-level solutions that fit customers’ business needs, production operability and budget.
  • Participate in and/or lead formal and informal reviews with key partners, applying knowledge and experience while providing technical perspective and support.
  • Communicate new details of new solutions and their impact on business processes to customers’ business and IT personnel.
  • Ensure that the customer understands the solution and receive responses to all open questions and action items.
  • Support the customer during the scoping phase in a specific domain up through and including customer sign off (for example, COP process for various customer types and products, EPC lead for all product models and designs, etc.).
  • Prepare solution-related documents and specifications. Configure the solution, followed by the creation, execution and maintenance of accurate and detailed test plans for applicable testing.
  • Support the resolution of configuration/implementation-related issues if and when they arise.

All you need is…

  • Excellent knowledge for requirement gathering and analysis skills
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a ServiceNow Business Analyst
  • Excellent working experience with different teams like Development, QA, Analysts & Customers.
  • Convert the customer requirements in the business solution implementation
  • Closely working with customers and development team to ensure to maintain high quality of the business solution implementation for service now
  • Maintain all the required documents and make sure it is available for the business users
  • Lead Agile business requirement gathering sessions
  • Ensure coordination with all other IT processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and expertise
  • Technical knowledge of service now is added advantage
  • Hands on experience with Service Now Modules like Service Catalog, Incident, Problem, Change, Web services, etc. will be added advantage.
  • ITIL process knowledge is must. ITIL V3 foundation is an Add-on.
