About the role

We are looking for Analysts who can develop analytical based solutions to solve business problems using domain knowledge, or statistical procedures depending on the requirements of the project.

Responsibilities

  • Will be working on multiple data trends to arrive at actionable insights.
  • Will be working closely with Business teams to enable data-driven decision making.
  • Influence new or existing programs based on internal data or external benchmarking.
  • Will work on data modelling, in order to create reporting/dashboards for business processes or data mining.
  • Ability to structure data to build predictive solutions using R/Python
  • Principle thinkers with an ability to break down complex problems, and collaborate with stakeholders to solve them

Qualifications

  • Relevant experience of 1-2 years with Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably in Computer Science/Math/Statistics or related discipline
  • Hands-on experience in Excel/Sheets.

Team Overview:

Aladdin Client Services role is part of the Aladdin Product Services within BlackRock Solutions’ Aladdin Business unit. BlackRock Solutions’ mission is to provide BlackRock with the best risk analytics and investment management platform, as well as to use this platform to offer a variety of tools and services to other large institutional investors. The Aladdin Client Services provides front line client services and training for Aladdin, BlackRock’s proprietary Investment and Trading management system.


Key Duties and Responsibilities


About this Role;

The Product Expert team is seeking to hire a technical specialist to accelerate the user experience and support model of a fast-growing business. The person will be a member of the Product Expert team with Aladdin Client Service working closely with the broader business to solve complex technical inquiry and partner with other product teams the to help shape product development.


Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Own complex Aladdin user inquiry leveraging technical knowledge to determine root cause and steps to resolve them.
  • Proficiency in gaining expertise around the core Operations domain product support and be the Subject matter expert to provide resolution to complex business problems revolving around Trade settlements/Matching/Fails, confirmations process (CTM), Swift mechanism, and Transmission workflows.
  • Act as key liaison between the Aladdin Client Service, Aladdin Client Engagement, Implementations, Product Marketing, engineering, and the wider BlackRock business
  • Work with key stakeholder across the Aladdin business to deliver against product specific, high impact projects
  • Engage with Aladdin users on product, process and service
  • Analyze client inquiry trends using data and user feedback and implement solutions to improve
  • Identify function gaps and areas of strategic enhancement from a product perspective
  • Formulate and implement strategic objectives to improve Aladdin user experience through process and technology enhancements
  • Work closely with other business units to prepare the Level 1 Aladdin Client Service team for product changes and releases
  • Develop skills to become technically proficient in all workflows within the data/analytics product team
  • Develop internal talent by providing learning/training opportunities, career development and 1:1 coaching


Requirement/Experience

  • 3+ years in a client or vendor facing role with ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high self-assurance and result driven approach.
  • In-depth technical understanding and knowledge of the Operations process.
  • Strong exposure in product Management domain to articulate the new product development, designs and enhancements with developers and Product marketing team and should have Proven track record in project delivery and implementation.
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to tailor approach to all corporate levels
  • Exceptional communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
  • Technically proficient, experience of diagnosing root cause and ability to problem solve
  • Ability to manage multiple incidents on a varying level of priority
