The role of a Sr. Product Manager is to work with business and IT leaders in defining the capabilities needed to support the growing customer success organizations at Palo Alto Networks. The Sr. Product Manager will also be responsible for transforming these capabilities defined into specifications or user stories for software developers.


Your Impact

  • Drive Leadership analytics for the Customer Success portfolio

  • Understand, track and predict where the investments will have the greatest return

  • Leverage analytics and advanced techniques to help the Customer Success organization to understand the effectiveness of the portfolio

  • Partner closely with Customer Success, Sales, and Finance business managers and analysts to influence and shape the roadmap based on customer cohort and customer life cycle phase

  • Drive Analytics initiatives while balancing the diagnosis and fixing of urgent problems with a proactive approach

  • Combine analytics, research, and data intuition to deliver insights on customer churn and upsell opportunities

  • Identify opportunities for improvement across process,, tooling and data automation to optimize costs and decrease turnaround time for analytics consumers

Qualifications


Your Experience

  • Overall 12+ years of experience in Data/Analytics Domain

  • Experience in Product management including managing delivery of BI products from start to finish

  • Analytical with keen understanding of business process and programs and the ability to translate data and insights into executive dashboards and presentations

  • Out-of-the-box thinker who can combine skills from strategic planning, customer success strategy, business operations, business analytics and business intelligence

  • Experience in building SQL scripts and Tableau Dashboard is a must

  • Having worked in Scrum/Agile based organizations will be highly desired

  • Specific knowledge of CustomerSuccess platform like gainsight and corresponding business process

  • Extensive experience in defining business capabilities, breaking down high level capabilities into user stories or requirements, experience working with software developers in implementing these requirements

  • Ability to scale to the dynamic and growing nature of the company with an agile mindset is a must

  • Experience in documenting and optimizing business processes in areas such as Sales, Finance and support

  • Experience working in small empowered highly collaborative teams

  • Experience in Scrum tools like Jira, visualization tools like Visio, and testing tools. Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in quantitative field

  • Minimum 2 years experience in delivering initiatives for customer success portfolio

  • Local to SF bay area

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer, the starting salary (includes on-target earnings = base + on target incentives for sales roles) is expected to be between $109,800/yr to $161,600/yr.
