Job Description Summary: At PayPal, we always love to keep the customers happy without any issues. In case, if there are any technical / functional issues, we need to find as early as possible before even customers sense it. This avoids not only the Negative Customer experience but also saves lot of dollars spent in the Customer Service domains including Operational costs. The CS – Tools and Monitoring team is responsible for developing a highly scalable, maintainable and standard dashboards which will proactively identifying the Customer Issues, Contacts and Complaints. The developers should get involved in all the different phases of development activities including Architectural designs, writing code in Java frameworks, consuming data from various sources, creating fine tuned tables in Oracle, MySQL, coming up with the logics using M/L etc.
Job Description:
Mandatory Technical Skills
- Experience in developing a scalable, highly configurable enterprise platform.
- Solid experience and understanding of internals of Java, Spring boot, Kafka, REST service, Java Test frameworks (Junit, TestNG), Database (SQL/NoSQL), Jenkins, maven and GitHub.
- Solid experience in software design, debugging, system monitoring, profiling and agile process
- Passion for innovation and creative ideas.
- Experience in Rest based service development.
- Experience in developing automated unit and functional tests
- Analytical mindset with good problem-solving abilities
- High proficiency in Data Structure and Algorithms.
Preferred Technical Skills
- Full stack experience is a great plus
- Hadoop and big data technologies like Spark and Splunk & streaming technology.
- Exposure to Reactive Programming using Java and Spring reactor framework
- Understanding of machine learning concepts – Model development, Training, Analytics and Engineering
