Job Description Summary: What you need to know about the role: As a member of PayPal’s new Talent Intelligence team, you’ll provide reporting and consultative support using talent acquisition and recruiting performance data. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the talent acquisition group, leadership, and stakeholders across PayPal can make data-informed decisions about where, when, and how to identify, engage, and hire future colleagues. Meet our team: The Talent Intelligence team sits within the Global Talent Acquisition group and has been created to provide data and reporting in support of PayPal’s talent acquisition goals. In this role, you will work with leaders and teams across talent acquisition, HR and the business and leverage both PayPal recruiting data and external labor market, competitor, and skills data to identify opportunities, enable benchmarking, address challenges, and answer critical talent-related questions.

In this role, you will support key stakeholders across talent acquisition and the wider business with reporting on PayPal’s recruiting data, performance metrics and talent acquisition group headcount, budget, and planning.

You will take the lead on critical data projects, as well as providing partnership and consultative support on change projects for or involving the Global Talent Acquisition group.

The work you deliver and guidance you provide will enable PayPal to identify, engage with, and hire future colleagues, alongside identifying ways to improve efficiencies, accelerate hiring, increase diversity, and maintain an industry-leading and data-informed talent acquisition capability.


Your day to day:

Talent Intelligence is a new team in the Global Talent Acquisition group, so you will have the opportunity to create new processes and systems, bring new ideas, innovate, and take a lead on projects to improve and evolve the team.

Some of the typical activities and responsibilities you can expect in this role include:

  • Assist Global Talent Acquisition leadership and teams with data to include a holistic view of the talent acquisition group

  • Undertake data assignments and preparing reports from recruitment systems to monitor progress, identify process improvements, opportunities to improve efficiency, and to celebrate successes

  • Strategically Partner, engage, innovate, and build solid relationships across the Global Talent Acquisition group and cross functional partners/teams and the HR/PayPal ecosystem

  • Prepare communications for key stakeholders and hold stakeholders accountable for any assigned action items for project success

  • Ensure the distribution of recruitment information across the group, providing regional and cross business oversight

  • Scope, size, and manage new requests that arise and manage through to completion


What you need to bring:

  • You’ll ideally have at least 3 years of professional experience gained in a corporate talent acquisition, HR or similar function undertaking complex data assignments

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to organise, articulate and present data effectively and influence stakeholders

  • Experience managing and prioritizing multiple requests, deliver to timelines and ability to meet deadlines and milestones

  • Strong MS Office Skills (including excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills) and the ability to create compelling, informative presentations using data

  • Experience partnering with geographically dispersed teams

Colorado Only : The pay range for this position is as mentioned below per year, plus annual bonus. We take into consideration an individual’s background and experience in determining final salary. All PayPal employees are shareholders in our Company, so equity is part of our total compensation plan. This role is also eligible for health insurance, stock purchase plans, retirement savings benefits, stock awards, life insurance and disability benefits, and paid time off for sick leave, parental leave, vacation and PTO.
