Essential Functions (Tasks and Responsibilities):
- Works with PayPal business units, Engineering and Product Dev teams to design, develop and deliver data solutions on one of the largest data platforms in the world.
- Supports PayPal business units by providing data in a ready-to-use data financial analysts, data scientists and leadership for to drive decision support around critical financial business processes.
- Partner with stakeholders (e.g., FP A, Real Estate, Engineering, Leadership) on the Finance Organization to build and improve PayPal s Financial Metrics (OPEX, CAPEX) to SLT, Financial Analysts, Space Strategy Planning and across various managers/leaders who always look for Finance data.
- Deliver actionable, data-driven insights to help understand financial data, launch, and optimize new features, and prioritize the product roadmap.
- Identify key metrics, conduct rigorous explorative data analysis, create exec-facing dashboards, semantic layer to facilitate self-serve and build business cases that drive decision making and business prioritization.
- Present findings and recommendations to the stakeholders.
- Define and cultivate best practices in analytics instrumentation and experimentation.
- Support multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
