Job Location: Bengaluru
As a MA Data Analyst within GCCI Internal Controls, you will be responsible to ensure all the dataset integration for Paypal new acquired entity and ready for all GCCI programs/business solutions. This team supports programs such as the Global Complaints Management Program, Control Testing Monitoring, Issue and Incident Management, Policies and Procedures, and others.
As a member of the MA data analytics team, you will:
- Become a domain expert in your supported adjacency areas and conduct rigorous data analysis to help GCCI Date Analytics team understand business process and data model for further data analytics solution development.
- Understand all the GCCI programs business needs;
- Work cross-functionally with MA, business SMEs, data services team to analysis data needs, build and test data models.
- Build and document data dictionary of supported adjacency for GCCI programs.
- Effectively partner with rest data analytic team to support business analysis and solution implementation.
- You should be comfortable working in an agile environment and with cross-regions teams, should have appetite to learn and be flexible to pick up new technology.
Requirements:
- BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Management Information System required or the equivalent professional experience in addition to 2 year work experience in BI, database development, business analysis, include building data interpretation and statistical models
- Strong understanding of database principles, SQL, and experience working with large databases beyond just data access;
- Working knowledge of databases (Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server, Hive, etc) and SQL tuning; strong database, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to learn quickly on the job and build strong business acumen to support business strategy and process analysis and BI solutions.
- Solid communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to communicate with different background stakeholders
- Ability to identify issues, analyze information, and provide feedback and solutions.
- Ability to understand the interdependency of technology and business processes.
- Skill in focusing on desired results, determining what is important and urgent, clarifying next steps, and prioritizing work effectively to meet deadlines.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, ability to work independently to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Data-driven mindset with a degree in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics or Economics
- Self-motivated. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions and work effectively under the pressure of deadlines.
- Must display a high level of professionalism, sound judgment, commitment, integrity, teamwork, and customer service.
