Job Description
Functional Responsibilities:
- Support delivery of harmonized data for forecasting as defined by the SLA (Service Level Agreement) within the Frito Lay Business Service Center
o Collect, manipulate, harmonize & transform data (primarily syndicated data) to be used in sales forecasting and to inform data-driven decisions
o Query data as needed
o Collate and succinctly communicate outcomes of data processing: report missing data, problems with data, etc.
o Provide responses to ad-hoc follow-ups when additional questions are required with tables/charts for relevant data
o Create repeatable process for data preparation and thoroughly document each step
- Support relationships with the key end-user stakeholders in Frito Lay US HQ
o Own flawless execution of data management
o Responsible for managing multiple priorities; being able to manage deadlines and deliverables
o Communicate with Business Partners and potentially end-users on matters such as available capacity, changes of scope of existing projects and planning of future projects
o Deliver outputs in line with the agreed timelines and formats
o Flag and monitor any business risks related to delivering the requested outputs
o Partner with stakeholders and service center leadership to develop and fine tune internal COE processes (work-flow mapping, pain-points and bottlenecks management) both related to service delivery and internal center operations
o Improve existing processes based on frequent Business Partner & end-user feedback loop
Qualifications/Requirements
- An experienced data analyst/data engineer with 2 years+ experience
- Education: Degree in data science, database management, information technology or information management
- Familiarity with CPG and Food & Beverage industry data syndicated sources, including Nielsen/IRi (POS and HH panel) product hierarchies, aggregating products up from the UPC level, etc.
- Understanding of CPG industry business performance outputs and measures
- Experience in data acquisition, extraction, transformation & loading, data mapping & aggregation, database management and programming capabilities.
- Experience with Agile development methods,
- Must have skills:Terradata, Azure,SQL
- Good to have skills: Python, Power BI, R, R Shiny or similar
- Proficient with Excel
- Strong collaborator: Interested and motivated by working with others. Actively creates and participates in opportunities to co-create solutions; will be willing and able to embrace Responsive Ways of Working
- Operational experience from business servicing sector would be a plus
- Language: English Fluent
