SUMMARY
The primary responsibility of the Data Warehouse developer will be to analyse,design,develop and test data warehouse related ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) processes in a Massively Parallel Processing (MPP) Cloud Data Warehouse environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform source to target data mapping; designing, reviewing, implementing and optimizing ETL processes.
- Work with data originators to fill in gaps in the data collected, and/or to adjust source-system data structures to facilitate analysis and integration with other company data.
- Review project plans, develop and test specifications; perform data analysis.
- Provide development support for existing systems; troubleshooting data and or system issues, building and extending toolsets.
- Create and/or maintain batch jobs.
- Create and maintain online systems and printed documentation.
- Provide data analysis and identify data related issues within the Data Warehouse environment as well as source systems as needed.
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing needs, adjusted processes and ambiguity
- Provide quality service satisfaction by possessing strong customer service skill sets.
- Create and maintain the logical and physical dimensional data models.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES
- Strong Experience in Python/Shell/SQL scripting and PL/SQL Programming.
- Strong Experience of advanced SQL writing, tuning/optimization and analytics.
- Experience in working with a variety of data sources using Python data processing/analytics packages.
- Strong Knowledge of Data Warehousing, ETL processes, Cloud Computing and Data Security concepts.
- Experience with Cloud Platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP.
- Experience with enterprise-class RDBMS (Oracle,SQL*server), Cloud Data warehouse (Snowflake/Redshift).
- Experience with database/information systems design,analysis and development.
- Experience with the development and implementation of enterprise-level data warehousing and supporting business intelligence initiatives.
- Strong written / oral communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to self-manage and multitask on multiple projects.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS*

- Experience with ETL programming in a Data Warehouse environment
- A bachelor’s degree and minimum 3 years of professional work experience is required.
