Job Location: Chennai
- In-depth experience with Microsoft Business Intelligence Suite (Microsoft SSAS, SSIS,SSRS) and Power BI
- Experienced/Expert at data visualization and advance calculations (Aggregate, Date, Logical, String, Table) using Azure-based Power BI (all devices)
Responsibilities:
- Having 3 to 5 Yrs experience in in MSBI technology with extensive usage of ETL SSIS & Reporting tools like SSRS and Power BI.
- Extensive knowledge on creating Power BI reports, Dashboards using Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service/Web. Created various Power BI Visualizations using Bar charts, Column chart, Line chart, Area chart, Waterfall, Pie chart, Donut chart, Tree Map, Card, KPI, Funnel, Maps & Slicers.
- Used different types of Filters in Power BI like Visual Level Filter, Page level Filter, and Report level Filter & Drill-through Filter.
- Extensively worked on Power BI transformations like Split column, Group by column, Append queries, Merge queries.
- Worked on Data Modeling with DAX using various Functions like Aggregate, SUM, COUNT, CONCATENATE, CURRENCY, CALCULATE, Time Intelligence Calculations such as FIRSTDATE and LAST DATE.
- Experience on different type of Power BI web concepts like Gateways, Schedule refresh, Q&A, Insights in Datasets.
- Worked on providing permissions on Reports, Dashboards and Datasets using Content packs.
- Extensively worked on all types of reports like Table report, Matrix reports, Sub reports, Drill-down reports, SQL Queries, Drill-through reports, Linked reports and Parameterized reports, in SSRS 2012.
- Scheduling the Reports Weekly and Monthly basis as per the Client Requirements.
- Experience in SQL Server database objects such as Tables, Views, Synonyms, Functions, Triggers and Stored Procedures.
- Created various Power Apps based Canvas apps on requirements for sharing and publishing.
- Knowledge of Model driven apps, Power Virtual Agents and Power Automate is desirable
- Highly desirable experience building Office 365 solutions including Power Automate (Flow), Power Apps, Power BI, Dynamics 365, SharePoint Online.
- Microsoft SQL databases with experience of SQL, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS
- Experience in creating PowerBI reports based on SharePoint Online Lists and Libraries
- Ability to prioritize and execute in a high-pressured environment
- Retrieve, analyze, and transform data into creative, aesthetically-pleasing visualizations in PBI that provide insight in subject areas and invoke action
- Must be able to work globally and communicate effectively with stakeholders, Effectively communicate analytical findings to users and provide education on dashboards built
- Follow and enhance BI standards and best practices across the team
- Collaborate and mentor team members on methodology, design and architecture
- Manage/Exposed to work as code in DevOps framework
- Extensive knowledge and experience of building Office 365 solutions including Power Automate (Flow), Power Apps, Power BI, Dynamics 365, SharePoint Online.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or IT or equivalent combination of education and experience
- More than 7+ years of experience will be considered for this position
- Experienced/Expert at data visualization and advance calculations (Aggregate, Date, Logical, String, Table) using Azure-based Power BI (all devices)
- Expert knowledge connecting Microsoft Azure-based Power BI to various data sources
- Expert creating different visualizations using Slicers, Lines, Pies, Histograms, Maps, Scatter, Bullets, Heat Maps, Tree maps, etc.
- In-depth experience with Microsoft Business Intelligence Suite (Microsoft SSAS, SSIS,SSRS) and Power BI
- Knowledge on SQL Server 2012 or advanced versions; SQL Server 2016 is most preferable
- Knowledge on Azure
- Experience in Custom Visuals and Groups usage
- Prior consulting experience preferred
- Experience in developing on an Agile basis and Agile fundamentals
- Knowledge of DevOps
- Exposure to creating custom visualizations
- Experienced in creating DAX expressions
- Exposure to setting up and configuring Power BI related Gateways and related data connections
- Experience in generating Drill through and Drill down reports with drop down menu option, sorting the data, and defining subtotals in Power BI.
