Location: Gurgaon, India
India Finance is looking for a Business Finance Analyst for India Commercial Controlling Team. We are looking for a team member who can handle big data and process monthly payout to customers for scheme settlement, to front-end sales team for incentives and to vendors for market related activities.
Role & Responsibility
The role will be responsible for:
- Act as trusted partner to business and other functional teams.
- Incentive Management: Monthly Incentive management as per internal policy. Ensure regular data analysis and drive action planning of customer incentives management
- Responsible for Rebate / Scheme and Price Drop Settlement
- Compliance: Drive a strong rhythm of compliance in the all revenue, sales adjustment and channel inventory related controls are all green on compliance score card

- Work in collaboration across teams, aligning people and processes, establishing high standards of performance and accountability that delivers expected business results.
- Provides the relevant info for balanced decision making, supporting the business to identify both risk and opportunity. Does not just work within established process but recognizes opportunities to fundamentally improve how we operate and acts as an agent of change.
- Implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance to Organizations Revenue accounting polices/practices.
- Ability to objectively formulate opinions and defend viewpoints with business partners instead of just reporting out what partners think.
- Challenges existing norms or courses of action, facilitating fully informed decision making.
- Supports the business grow profitably, driving the finance rhythm across functions to achieve its business & financial goals.
- Supports Finance & Business Excellence.
Knowledge, Skills, Language and Abilities
- 2-5 year experience in Finance with strong demonstration of business partnering (including sales planning), management reporting and controls & compliance culture.
- Fluent in English and good presentation skills
- CA/MBA Finance/ICWA preferable
- Existing experience of Consumer or handset business is desirable
- Ability to collaborate and partner effectively with cross functional teams – both India and global is a key requirement
