POSITION SUMMARY:

TheSeniorMarketing Data Analystwill be responsible for the statistical analysis and reporting of both customer and product data for the purpose of strategic marketing decision-making and planning. They will play a key role in the strategic vision and trajectory of the company and have direct influence on marketing decision making. The ideal candidate will have a passion for data storytelling, view the world through an analytical lens, be interested in a broad range of customer-centric data, be intellectually curious, learn and move quickly while prioritizing high-impact projects. This position will report directly to the Senior Director, Retention Marketing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

. Responsible for on-going analysis of customer cohorts and behaviors to identify lifetime value trends, marketing optimizations, and product opportunities

. Assist in segmenting customer base for CRM targeting and look-a-like audience creation within various marketing channels

. Provide analytical support for channel level forecasting and planning

. Build new channel integrations with vendors inclusive of API, pixel, and other marketing insight components

. Collaborate cross-functionally, within a multi-layered enterprise comprising of various analytics teams and tools

Requirements:

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

. Robust analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with accuracy and attention to detail

. Strong SQL database query and analysis skills

. Proficient with data visualization and tools to present findings in concise and actionable manner

. Basic understanding of marketing and channel-specific tactics preferred

. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience reporting on financial impacts of business initiatives and making presentations to management

. Expert project and time management skills, with the ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously in an organized and detail-oriented manner

. Able to be proactive in finding solutions and/or opportunities within the organization as it pertains to customer and behavioral data

. Ability to internalize abstract requests and develop robust data sets and analyses for actionable decision making

. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-level enterprise

. Power-user in Excel, Power BI, Google Analytics, R/Python, and Tableau

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:

. BA/BS in Statistics/Math, Business, Economics, or related field

. 5+ years of business statistical analysis experience in a B2C retail environment
