Job Location: Chennai
Position Purpose
This position’s primary responsibility is to ensure the operational effectiveness of the Integrated Logistics Platform (ILP).
The position will:
- Support on a day-to-day basis the Integrated Logistics Platform capabilities, processes and tools including, but not limited to Freight Audit & Payment Management, Rate management, Supply Chain Visibility, Logistics Service Provider Performance Management, Platform Data quality management and freight spend post audit activities.
- Work with Pfizer’s LSP (Logistics Service Providers), ILP (Integrated Logistics Platform) partners and Pfizer Data Analytics team to ensure operational performance and continuous improvement within all areas of the Integrated Logistics Platform.
- Understand and support the deployment of Pfizer’s Intercompany Operations Logistics Platform Services strategies.
Primary Responsibilities

Freight Audit & Payments Management:
- Act as a liaise between our logistics service providers, freight audit vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure an efficient “exception resolution” process
- Act as an SME for the various internal and external tools with our partners with good knowledge of SAP tables related to invoicing and payments

Data Quality Management
- Monitor and govern the Logistics Service Providers data quality within the Integrated Logistics Platform
- Identify areas of improvement and drive results
Technical Skill Requirements
Day-to-Day Management:
- Highly organized and ability to prioritize activities daily.
- Analyze and solve a data quality issues with logistics service providers and logistics partners
- Monitors and communicates opportunities for improvement on day-to-day basis and tracks improvement
Technical skills
- ERP knowledge and experience (SAP Preferred)
- Expert in Microsoft applications including Excel and good knowledge PowerPoint
- Database experience with tools like SQL preferred
- Data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI essential
- Technology systems proficiency and/or ability to quickly master technology
- Knowledge of finance management and/or accounting best practices (accounting rules, VAT rules, finance audits, …)
