You are responsible for

  • Support and execute our LCA and data management strategy.
  • Support the deployment easy-to-use tooling and associated training across our organization and external customers.
  • Translate LCA results into straightforward and easy to understand reports and recommendations to clients such as R&D and marketing leads
  • Support LCA-related initiatives such as measuring the environmental performance of ecodesign and circularity innovations.


You are a part of

Philips Engineering Solutions (PES) Sustainability Team. PES is an integral part of Innovation & Strategy, which guides the company’s course and enables us to achieve our ambitions in health technology through innovation. At PES, we have invested in our team of Sustainability consultants and experts who help Philips and external clients bring sustainability to life. Philips Engineering Solutions. We work closely together with Philips’ central Sustainability Office, Philips Design, and Research, to support the businesses, markets, and functions in reaching their environmental goals.

You will be able to learn from and work with a world-class team of sustainability consultants, engineers, system architects, innovation management consultants, and our business model innovation experts. Together we help our partners demonstrate that we can do “Well and Good” at the same time.


To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following

  • Completed academic education in: Environmental Science/Technology or Chemical Engineering, or a domain related to materials/plastics recycling/circularity
  • At least five years of work experience in environmental sustainability topics such as LCA, Ecodesign, and Circular Economy, preferably in the manufacturing or tech industry
  • At least two years of experience with LCA and advanced LCA tooling (e.g. Simapro); track record in complex LCAs for manufacturing/tech industry is a pré
  • Experience with business processes related to product development and associated data management
  • Highly skilled in Excel
  • Proven track record in project management
  • Experience with sustainability in-hospital care flows and/or pollution prevention assessments on-site is a pré
  • Pro-active, self-propelled and highly motivated
  • Communicative skills in English language
