Job Description
In this role, you have the opportunity to engineer the quality and safety of our healthcare systems
You are responsible for

The realization and management of product test and verification in product creation projects
-
Integrally manage the design, development, execution and reporting of all test and verification engineering activities
-
Defining and reviewing testable requirements and the development of an optimization, integration and testing strategy towards product realization
-
Liaise with test centers, lab facilities to execute the verification plan
-
Deploy best practices for requirement engineering, risk and test and verification management globally in Philips to R&D project teams or organizations via training & coaching

Identify improvement opportunities in Philips businesses with respect to the Test and Verification proposition and develop actionable proposals and plans to address these
You are a part of Test and Verification Engineering team which is part of the Reliability Solutions department of Philips Innovation Services and is a diverse group of more than 20 technical experts. All have extensive experience in the field of test and verification strategy definition, requirement engineering and/or test automation and are actively supporting complex, innovative projects for our customers from both internal Philips businesses, as well as, external companies, located all over the world. These projects can cover every phase of the product life cycle, from development, manufacturing, market deployment, operation to phase out.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

Masters or Bachelors degree in Physics, Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering

6 to 11 years of experience as a Test and Verification lead in an industrial product R&D environment

Deep knowledge & experience in implementing test and verification best practices, fields requirement engineering, risk management and test management

DFSS Black Belt or equal by experience and manufacturing quality control knowledge

Strong communication skills gathering relevant information, bringing strategies to results of teams and convincing various stakeholders

Analytical and architectural thinking, physical insight, continuous learning mindset and ability to create structure that leads to deliver sustainable results and creative solutions

Fluent in English and willing to travel globally 20%
