    Your responsibilities

    • Work across multiple stakeholders, understand the business problem and recommend and execute optimal data science solution
    • Being able to drive data science solutions execution independently
    • Hands on experience on using multiple coding languages including but not limited – python, R, Unix, SQL, Data Bricks, Spark etc.
    • At least 5-6 years of experience in Marketing Data Science solution execution & delivery
    • Strong communication and storytelling skills
    • Have research mindset in being able to recommend novel solutions and methodologies for the problems at hand
    • Develop solutions include supporting execution of already established Global programs and designing new/be-spoke solutions for marketing analytics workstreams including but not limited to:
      1. Customer Engagement Models
      2. Customer Segmentation & Clustering
      3. Customer CLTV Modelling
      4. Propensity Modelling
      5. Opportunity – Win/Loss Prediction
      6. Etc…


    Your team

    You’ll be part of the Marketing Insights & Analytics team, composed by business analysts and data scientists and led by a Global Head of Marketing Data Analytics, within Philips Group. You’ll be based in our Bangalore office.


    We are looking for

    Our ideal candidate is a Hands On Data Science professional with a strong Marketing Analytics background, willing to take his career to the next level by joining Philips and working on a global scale.

    The main requirements for this role are:

    • BTech/MTech/Masters in Statistics/Economics a reputed institute
    • Hands on experience on Python, Unix, Databricks, Spark, SQL, and BI tools (Qlik/ PowerBI/Tableau)
    • Maintains awareness of new and emerging technologies and the potential application on client/customer engagements.
    • International background, able to manage multiple stakeholders in different Countries and contexts.
    • Familiarity with SaaS Marketing automation tools will be an advantage.
    • Strong leadership skills and the ability to work across cultures, teaming up with colleagues located in all the global markets where Philips has offices.
    • Fluent business-level English is a necessary requirement. Additional languages are welcome.
