    In this role, you have the opportunity to make life better

    • As a senior member of the data science team, lead and develop future AI toolsuite capabilities, coordinate with clusters/business for AI toolsuite adoption and drive data and AI strategies

    • Perform scientific work, leading in internal and external forums, define and lead data science and AI projects.

    • Provide thought leadership in AI and data science, data driven AI development.


    You are responsible for

    • Provide though leadership in AI and data science by evaluating state of the art in AI platforms, tools and frameworks and championing it within Philips

    • Keep itself abreast with state-of-the-art advancements in image processing, NLP and numerical data for AI model developments, healthcare solutions

    • Develop new AI capabilities as platform services, explore new AI capabilities for end 2 end AI development and their adoption within Philips

    • Lead data science and AI projects, delivering key project goals such as technology transfer, adoption in AI solutions, Cluster data and AI usecases, invention disclosures, publications, technotes

    • Engage with AI CoE program team and stakeholders and co-lead new initiatives for AI and data strategy. Lead and execute AI CoE epics

    • Participate in external and internal forums, conferences. Write new research project proposals, Innovation briefs, whilte paper and technotes on new emerging trends and data and AI.

    • Technical leadership in cloud technologies, AWS (platforms, AI tools and pipelines), coordination with HSDP and other domain platform teams

    • Participate in department and teal level strategy and capability building initiatives

    • Coach and mentor junior team members (AI engineer, scientist, sw developers)

    • Follow QMS (CTP, Platforms) and process e.g. research ICBE


    KPIs:

    • Digital research innovations approved and transferred (as per Technology Roadmap)

    • Number of projects proposed in the research portfolio and approved by IPM/AI CoE program

    • Number of AI enablers developed within AI toolsuite and their adoption

    • All SW transfers to have a maturity score of C.

    • Agile maturity in research

    • Creative outputs: # of ID’s to IP&S, high impact publications, white paper, technotes

    • Number of external talks (invited speaker) and internal (OCCUPAI)


    To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following

    • Phd or Mtech, with CS/EE background with minimum 10+ year experience in data science and AI. Proof points: AI models, ML algorithms in medical image segmentation and analysis and/or clinical data, NLP)

    • Work experience in building I platform assets and services and its adoption

    • Work experience in building and deployment cloud based solutions (preference AI based)

    • Hands-on experience with HSP (preference HS-Insights) and/or domain platforms

    • Language proficiency: Java, Python, R
