Position Purpose
IT Business Analysts are responsible for enhancing the quality of IT products and services, analyzing data to inform business decisions and finding technological solutions to business needs, among other duties.
The best IT Business Analysts have exceptional interpersonal skills as they need to act as a communication link between the IT and Executive branches.
Closely work with the local business teams/ user groups and translates business needs for identifying technology solutions.
Assume responsibility for enhancements and maintenance of existing/new application development & enhancement
Contribute in new IT Applications: Projects implementation, unit testing, end user co-ordination and training, vendor co-ordination and support & maintenance.
advantageous to have worked in a Manufacturing Plant based IT Set up. Understanding of Shop floor Manufacturing Control Systems : PLCs, HMI/SCADA, DCS ;LIMS ; PLM; SAP tools along with systems integration Concepts.

Applications:
- Creating, analyzing, and validating detailed functional specifications.
- Facilitating design sessions with the implementation team to define the solution.
- Delivering elements of systems design, including data migration rules, business rules, wireframes, or other detailed deliverables.
- Understanding the needs of multiple stakeholders.
- Facilitating the negotiation of requirements amongst multiple stakeholders.
- Identifying the current- and future-state business processes.
- Helping the business stakeholders envision the future and how their work will need to change to support the future.
Tools/Process expertise:
- Office Visio/major excel functionality.
- Microsoft project .
- Well versed on making power point presentations.
- Data analytics focal , may have worked any of analytics tool( Qlik, power BI , BOBJ, SAS )

- Collaborate with other corporate IT team as well as business and operations teams for efficient system delivery.
- Maintain close working relationships with the other departments in the company for smooth communication and coordination.
- Actively ask for feedback, identify and address improvement potential in the area of responsibility
Education Qualification
- Engineering background in Computer Science or related fields.
- Agile/PMP certificate will be preferred
- Should be familiar with Agile and other Software Project implementation methodologies.
Work Experience
7+ years of work experience with minimum 3+ years of experience of in similar role in relevant IT Applications function in a Manufacturing preferably Pharma/Chemical Background
Industry to be Hired from
Any Industry but experience in Life science / Chemical or Pharma company would be added advantage
Functional Competencies
- Understanding of Web based & mobile technologies
- Understanding of business process workflows
- Having hands-on expertise of development of software applications based on understanding users requirements and convert them into logical solutions
- Successful track record of business analysis or project delivery.
- Good understanding of SDLC / Agile methodology
- Exposure to new Technologies like IIOT, Digital Factory etc.
